Bullets, knives & other shabby things! I know some disliked Betsy in Remender's X-Force but I felt it was probably the most any writer had done with the character in years. I still get hit in the feels when I reread the part when Betsy is making Warren believe that they had a full long life together.

Best comic book series ever. Please Marvel, bring back the band one last time. Could have used Jerome Opena for the cover art instead of Scott William. I wouldn't think the Age of Apocalypse version of Apocalypse would be appropriate because he was never exactly feature as the main villain. Should have used the regular version, or possibly a different villain. Guys, who would you pick to appear as a replacement of Magneto on the iconic X-men Cover.

Kwannon is now the new cover girl lol she owes a lot to the original Psylocke

Ah, Remender's run... it was so good! This homage is much deserved.

@Atomic Ton - You mean, for this UXF cover or if Marvel redid the X-Men cover with the recent (or the most iconic) X-Men?

In the first case, either Apocalypse (though I agree with you, it would make more sense to use the original Apocalypse, not the AoA one) or Dark-Angel Warren. In the second case, I'd choose Rev.Stryker: he has no superpowers, yet he is possibly the most dangerous foe the X-Men ever had, as he incites hate against mutantkind (plus, he's sorta the comic book equivalent of many real-life politicians). Sublime would also be interesting in theory, but it would be hard to recreate the cover replacing Magneto with sentient bacteria...

@randybear - Casual readers will probably see Kwannon as the cover girl, indeed. I guess the truth that it's actually Betsy "wearing" Kwannon's carcass will be the little secret among us Betsy fans.

Then again, I'd say it will be easier for Betsy to avoid being outshined by the new Psylocke (after all, Betsy is in a book with Rogue, Gambit and Apocalypse, so their fandoms combined will likely keep them all relevant enough) than it will be for Kwannon to be seen as an actual character rather than an alternate Betsy walking around.

Betsy In Uncanny X-Force was the best character wise she has been written in years, I feel since she got her "original" body back she has been written as a weak character.

Weak in characterization or in powers? Because in AoXM she stored in her mind all the memories "deleted" from other people and later managed to give them back to everyone... that's quite a strong power demonstration to me.

But I agree that Betsy was awesome in Remender's UXF.

Love this cover, it’s a tribute to one of my all time favorite comics and the comic where I fell in love with Betsy. She was such an interesting and complex character in this series, I hope we get another X-Force series with her front and center but I doubt it will ever be as good as Remender’s.

Well I doubt Betsy herself will ever be put on XForce again that part of her life is now 100% Kwannon. So I'm sure Psylocke will inevitably rejoin XForce at some point but as Kwannon.

Although I have this crazy feeling it will be revealed that Kwannon was somehow always there in the Asian body residing along and influencing Betsy.

Just watch.
