Q: How much of the overall meta-story do I need to know to read this title?
Jim Zub: I worked hard to make 'Mystery In Madripoor' a complete story on its own. Betsy narrates issue #1 and tells you who everyone is and their mission. Captions fill you in on names/powers. Reading the 'Hunt For Wolverine' one-shot obviously helps, but that should be all you need.
