It's Speculation Time!

Twitter can be a great source for information sometimes, and every once in a while Marvel writers like to tease us a little bit.

Rick Remender often interacts with fans and answers some interesting questions about ‘Uncanny X-Force’, a book he plans to write for 2-3 years. When asked about Fantomex’s bullets from issue #15, Remender says he’ll be dealing with them in the Otherworld arc (issues #20-23). He also adds that after Schism, X-Force will have more new members than the ones seen in the teaser.

You also might have noticed subtle changes to Psylocke’s uniform in the current arc. Remender confirms it’s her new suit for ‘Uncanny X-Force’. Jerome Opeña told us he was asked to design something similar to Betsy’s classic uniform. He adds that he still might tweak it a bit in upcoming issues, but it will stay pretty close to how it was seen in issues #14 and #15. Did you like it?

Let’s also not forget Victor Gischler, the writer of ‘X-Men’. When asked about who’s really leading his team, Gischler says Storm is, but that Psylocke plays an important role as well. Are you guys excited?

Excited? I'm downright giddy. lol

I guess that's good to hear, and know, that Storm will be leading (not a backdrop character!) and that Psylocke will still be "important" to the team.

Would also imagine that all the rosters are going to be larger than what the teasers reveal. Will be cool to see where everyone ends up.

can't even put into words how excited I am!

Also, I like her new uniform for X-force, It fits better with the rest of the team now I think. I hope she keeps her classic suit for the X-men Team.

Yes, a lot!

Her new uniform for X-Force is great, and it's exciting to know that X-Force will get more new people! Who could they be? Deathlok is almost certain, I guess. Remender never hid that he doesn't like Domino, so I guess she's out (plus, she's on Scott's side; not everyone can pull off a double duty like our Ms. Braddock can).

My biggest surprise is to find out that Gischler does intend to give Psylocke an important role in X-Men, considering that so far he didn't use her for a single issue of X-Men. It seems CmX's opinion was right, after all...

As for the size of the rosters, X-Men:Legacy's definitely needs to grow up. I hope Professor X and Legion are still on the team. Maybe Husk, too, since Carey said a lot of times that he loves her (and she is indeed a cool character). The other rosters are fine for me (although it seems that Uncanny X-Men's will also have Hope, Storm and Namor, according to an online leak - personally, I hope it's true, as these three would help A LOT in making the UXM roster more likeable).

Braxton, chum... that's where you and I part ways. I hope that "classic{" thing never returns again... in any title! Let Elektra keep that!

A year ago, Psylocke was background fodder, now, she's the star of TWO ongoing books. One which is completely fucking awesome. Good time to be a Psylocke fan
