X-Men Legacy #237 Spoilers

The issue starts with Magneto keeping the wave of Nimrods at bay on Utopia. In the future X-Force hits Master Mold hard while Cable and Cypher arrive at Master Mold's "Processing Core". Cypher is found by Master Mold's main intelligence and tells Cypher that he will not be a threat and can easily erase his mind. Back in San Francisco the X-Men fight the Nimrods on the Golden Gate Bridge. Hope and Rogue arrive in time to save Storm and the others. Back on Utopia Magneto uses Utopia to destroy the Nimrods by manipulating the iron buried in it's core. Cypher becomes overwhelmed by Master Mold and it seems as though his mind is going to be completely annihilated. Cypher however is able to trace the pattern of numbers Master Mold is using to destroy him and over ride their flow. He is able to over come Master Mold's hold and shuts him down completely. Back in San Francisco the Nimrods all fall mid battle with the X-Men. X-Force finds Cable and Cypher, Cypher is unconscious but still breathing. X-23 attempts to step through Bastion's portal leading to the past, but she is nearly killed. Nothing organic can pass through the portal. In San Francisco, Hope confronts Cyclops about sending Cable into the future knowing they have no way of returning. Cyclops tells her that he did what he did to save everyone and Cable was aware of the situation. Hope still upset yells at Cyclops and still doesn't agree with what he's done. Suddenly something begins to emerge from Bastion's portal. Cable slowly comes through, over taken completely by the techno organic virus. Bastion along with Creed and Lang watch from a distance. Bastion mentions that while they have defeated Master Mold and the Nimrods, they are still trapped inside the dome with him.

Notes: There is no Psylocke in this issue. :(

Wooooow!! what a good issue!! a shame that psylocke doesn't appear :S:S

if there is no point of returning, how can our heroes be back in the past??

They will find a way to come back...
I want second coming to end, I have seen few future previews and looks like everything is still same when SC ends.
Im sick of events with no point.
They just killed Nightcrawler and a few D-list teleporters, but the rest is still same old crap.
No Jean Grey, no Havoc, Rachel and Polaris coming from space, no big thing after all.
Im just too sick of that.
And Hope is definately not worth it... We didnt needed another Phoenix tease. I just want her to dissapear.
Uncanny will be back to the old Emma & Scoot show, as long as Craption is still writting.
X-franchise sucks right now.

I have a feeling that Domino won't be returning with the rest of them...

Good riddance.

No love for Domino? I'm pretty sure she returns. She's the focus character in "X-force: Sex and Violence," a mini that'll be coming out sometime soon.

X-Force: Sex and Violence happens before Second Coming (Notice Elixir is still part of X-Force in this mini).

I don't really care for Domino. But Psylocke needs to be the sole queen bee of X-Force :P

@Anyonymous 4:13AM - I fully agree. Psylocke can shine in X-Force, and hopefully in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 :)

Domino better not die... and same goes for X-23..

All X-books are total rubbish right now. This one is very disappointing & the last issue I'm buying. I can't even wish the franchise luck in the hands of Disney; it just got so bad on its own.
Good luck to Betsy in the future :)

Domino is OK in my books but I wouldn't bet on her surviving SC.
I kind of feel that on of the X-Force won't be returning from the future and that Cable will sacrifice his life at the very end of this event (to save Hope).

I wouldn't go as far as to say that all of the x-books would stink now. Uncanny pretty much does since fraction doesn't care at all for anyone else but Scott, Emma and maybe Mag and Namor.

I'm really hoping Betsy is in the new X-Force and that the book itself is good in it's own right.

X-Force will come back...
We have seen Wolverine and Cypher in future covers. And I bet Domino, X-23 and Angel will come back also.
We knew who would die in SC even before the event start.
Nightcrawler and Cable are the main deaths.
Another pointless event.
I guess what will the the different after that, when the X-men world will never be the samen anymore.
But everything seems the same, I think they will even stay in Utopia. I hate Utupia.
I want a new mansion. And new teams.

Of all the 6 people that went to the future, Domino is the only one that I wouldn't mind if died by the end of SC (I didn't like Cable in the 90s, but I love the tough soldier/loving father duality that he's become since Messiah CompleX).

However, she appears in the cover for the final SC issue, in Utopia with Hope and the X-Men, alive and well. Sure, covers don't always show the truth of what happens, but except for the cover showing X-23 impressed with Legion's powers (when she should be in the future already), the majority of the SC covers have been pretty accurate of the stories the issues show so far...

So, as much as I'd like her to be the one dying/staying stuck with the Nimrods by the end of SC, Cable is still the most likely candidate. Unfortunately.

I just wish that Nightcrawler could be revived by Hope in the final issue. While ressurrections are usually cheap, it would be surprising (in a GOOD way) to see his sacrifice being rewarded by the end of the battle - and it wouldn't be cheap, since it would be part of the same story...

Where did you see the cover image for the final issue of Second Coming?? I can't find it for the life of me.. Any link?? I'd like to see it.

Cover for X-Force #28

Goodbye Cable, dying or not I have a feeling you are going away for a long time. Don’t think they needed this many issues to tell SC. X-force will find a way back.

IDK I don’t think the mutants who lost their powers will get it back. Hope will likely break the Witch’s spell and allow new mutants to be born and those reaching the age of manifestation will also get powers. I don’t think much will change after SC also. Only thing changed is another artist has been added to the Uncanny book who I’m sure will likely soon get a lot of hate for being inconsistent. With Fraction I expect a lot more “as you wish” and into the head’s of Emclops again here we go. Though I’m interest how they a re going to get Kitty back to form.

@9:49 Anonymous - The cover was posted by LuckyStar in this same blog. Take a look, it's the first cover in this link: http://psylocke-butterfly.blogspot.com/2010/04/x-solicits-for-july-2010.html

We can see Hope, Cyclops, White Queen, Sunspot (of all the New Mutants, why choose HIM? I'm Brazilian yet I don't think he represents our country at all), Warlock, Rogue, Wolverine (of course...), Magneto, X-23 and... yes, Domino.

As much as I'd prefer that she would be the one to die, Cable is still the most likely candidate. Oh well, at least it seems that Betsy will survive!

Yea I agree that we are happy to trade Betsy for Domino as leading lady of Xforce. It'd be nice to see Boom Boom back as well she was always best fit for the Xforce attitude. I feel like there have been so many characters introduced in recent years that fans yearn for the x teams of the 80's and 90's. Break Lorna and Jean back...Jubilee...Kitty Karma and Dani..Magma too. Siryn?

Yes bring Lorna back please! I hear you exactly, Anonymous above me
