X-Force #21 Spoilers

Spoilers: Vanisher returns to the X-Men, just in time to be caught in the assault of Selene's zombies. Several once-dead mutants show up in Utopia and attack the X-Men and the students. Angel and Warpath deal with Pyro and others while Hrimhari gets Wolfsbane inside the base. In Genosha, Eli Bard senses Cypher isn't under his control anymore, much to Selene's dismay. The Black Queen then orders the Hellions to retrieve Cypher. Banshee arrives at the scene and attacks Cyclops and the others. Sean breaks off after a brief moment of lucidity and Scott orders the Cuckoos to find Selene. Warpath gets knocked into Blindfold’s room and she tells him she has a message for Cyclops. Risque shows up and is forced to attack him. Archangel finds out that the Techno-Organic mutants can repair themselves, and Danger saves Empath and Shaw from Leland and Shinobi. Back on Genosha, Bard starts to raise all the dead mutants. His activity is detected by Bastion and the Cuckoos. The resurrections are soon in the millions.

Notes: Sorry for the delay. I was really lazy this week. Psylocke only shows up on the panel we've seen in the preview.

X-Position: Nick Lowe

CBR: I've been noticing Psylocke has been popping up in a lot of places lately: "Uncanny X-Men," "X-Men: Legacy," "Wolverine: Weapon X," and her own miniseries. I, for one, am grateful for this. Is there an intentional, combined effort to turn this mistreated character into a major player in the X-world?

Nick Lowe: It's definitely intentional and you have one man to thank for it - Axel Alonso. He loves Psylocke even more than Warren Worthington and CB Cebulski do…and that's saying a lot!

X-Men: Gals On The Run Spoilers & Art

X-Men: Gals on The Run by Chris Claremont and Milo Manara was released in Italy. Our reader, nicce, was nice enough to provide us with spoilers and scans! Check them out. Just one more thing: In X-Men Vs. Agents of Atlas #2, Psylocke was knocked out by Namora and didn't show up anymore, so I don't feel like posting spoilers for it. LOL. Enjoy:

Spoilers: In Madripoor, Psylocke, Storm, Rogue and Shadowcat face a group of "modern pirates", which has kidnapped Rachel. The rescue operation is more complicated than the girls have thought as Rachel seems to betray her teammates even if Kitty says that Rachel told her telepathically to trust her. When they try to escape, they are hit by a beam which deprives them from their powers. They fall, but miraculously save themselves.

At this point we are informed on how all the story started. Rogue had inherited a villa on a Greek island, Kirinos, and so the X-Girls have left for a holiday, an entire week of relax. While the girls were having fun, dancing and singing, Rachel was kidnapped. An explosion would have killed the others if Psylocke hadn't saved them.

Here we go back to the beginning of the story. Kitty understands what Rachel had told her: the pirates have closed the Xavier Institute into a "Bubble", a stasis field which freezes all that is inside of it, and that's why they tried to kill the girls in Greece as they weren't in the Xavier Institute. Moreover, the pirates kidnapped Emma Frost and Rachel because they needed them to make something work.

The X-girls are then captured by the legendary tribe of the South Seas, which venerates the planets as Gods. The girls are treated as slaves by them. During this period, Kitty realizes the pirates used Emma and Rachel to increase a power beam that cancels mutant powers, used in a secret war between India and China.

Afterwards, the pirates attack the tribe and team up with the X-girls against them. Fortunately, the leader of the tribe is a mutant with the power to inhibit combustion. Her powers lead to a total blackout in Madripoor, which makes the cancel-beam-machine not to work. The girls get their powers back and face the pirates again. The X-Women manage to defeat the enemies and save the world.

Psylocke #1 Spoilers

Spoilers: In Utopia, Psylocke and Dazzler help the New X-Men to defeat Sack. Alison then convinces Betsy to check on her former dead body. Dr. Nemesis confirms the corpse is indeed real, and Psylocke decides to travel to Japan to re-enter it in its proper resting place. Wolverine goes along with Betsy and both get aboard the X-Jet. Meanwhile, Betsy reflects on her life and feels frustrated because she didn't feel any connection to her former body. For her, all that's left are memories from another life because she can't really feel them. The Japanese police orders Psylocke to land immediately for the X-Men are not welcome in the country. Betsy uses her telepathy on the sergeant in order to leave her alone. She also telepathically makes them take the coffin to the graveyard under a heavy police escort. At the cemetery, a swarm of Hand ninjas attack Psylocke, and a deadly battle is ensued. Betsy soon realizes they're not trying to kill her, that they're just after the body. However, it's too late, as one of the Ninjas completely destroys the corpse, turning it into dust. He tells Psylocke that Matsu'o sent his regards. Betsy feels like the last link to her former life is now gone and commits herself to kill Matsu'o.
