“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

So Seely is writing this as Elizabeth realizing that she was not in her own body. Has he commented on how that affects the Revanche Saga when everyone is shocked to learn that Betsy’s East Asian body is not her own cosmetically altered through surgery and magic? If he hasn’t spoken about that, perhaps I’ll message him to inquire. I’m genuinely curious.
@Rahsaan I'm not sure that means she knew she was body swapped.
That dialogue imo could be open to interpretation.
It could be she knew, but could also mean that's how she feels.
She honestly could still feel an drastically altered body is the body & face of a stranger (as in she doesn't recognize or feel like herself)
& feel like a passenger to an unfamiliar flesh.
@Rahsaan At this point in the story, Betsy is unaware of Kwannon's existence or how her physical transformation occurred. She only knows that her body has been altered, therefore she feels that this body is not hers, at least not the old body she had.
