Well... at least the art is gorgeous.

Tini always seems to end up with decent artist. She has that going for her at least. I'm not 100 percent, but I think I saw her asking people on Twitter to order the book to make it a huge debut for Betsy. I guess time will tell to see if it will be or not.

I usage of panels kinda similar to Alan Davis. Hopefully everything looks good (and the artist can make TH scripts make sense) after it's colored.

Still just going to read spoilers for this series though.

Ditto. Kox was better than Excalibur, but not enough for me to pay for another round of her style of writing. To each their own, but just not a fan of her style at this point. Ironically I found her more grounded scenes to be much better than the fantasy stuff (which she sadly prefers). Meaning I thought the stuff she actually wrote doing scenes on Krakoa or that alternate universe with Kwannon/Warren was much better than any of the Otherworld storyline. Still crossing fingers this somehow ends with Brian getting the mantle back.

My favorite issues of Excalibur was #2 (I dunno why just a fun issue to read for me) and the Swords issue that was drawn by RB Silva. By KoX though I was tired.

If the series ends up good, not holding my breath, I'll definitely buy the trade. Individual issues? Especially a $5 #1? No thanks

I don't blame this artist for this terrible Captain Britain design.

But I refuse to read this imposter bullshit.

Art looks great! Wasn't this excited for the last two artists but Vasco does good work and it's very lively. Crossing my fingers TH pulls stays consistent with Betsy's voice in this run. Excalibur 22-26 had some good moments and if that's the energy she brings into this new book we should be good. Excited for Betsy's 2023!
