Shogo's representations of himself and Betsy as kid's drawings are kinda cute. And considering that this is the final issue, I guess (and hope) this means that he's safe from death or serious injuries... hopefully he won't come back for the third X-book - I like him, but I don't like the idea of a baby being at constant risk of being injured (even if his dragon form should make the injuries barely hurt).
As for the second panel... is Betsy being imprisoned by her teammates (as her raised arms and Bei pointing a spear at her seem to indicate), or is she raising her arms and distancing herself from her teammates just to show that she's feeling frustrated? If it's the second case (and it's more likely, as there doesn't seem to be a reason for her team to turn against her), well, I guess we can relate with her.
(also, who is that statue meant to represent? Brian? Arthur? Mordred? Gambit? Betsy in a male body?)
Friends, you better brace yourselves... for the worst. Tini Howard's brilliant, exciting new direction for Betsy after KoX ends is "patrolling the multiverse".
Yes, you've heard it right. We're getting New Exiles Part 2. More details tomorrow.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

I feel bad for excusing Howard I'm part of the destruction.
Not even the art is good in this book
Lmao we forgive you, child

Gambit. You can see the card symbol behind the statue
@randybear, Thank you! I didn't notice the symbol before.
@Randybear thanks, what's done is done time to get wiser. Fool me once, twice, third time is chopping block time.
Notwithstanding the world building and the elaborate poems and infographics, the bad writing can't hide for long.

This nightmare never ends ...
@like a butterfly, something of Revolutionary Girl Utena (Betsy) and Anthy Himemiya (Rachel) but flipped as guardians of the multiverse.
If they meet with Angela and Sera will make a quartet.
A big sigh of disappointment while watching the Apocalypse unfold.
