I swear that Jim's art was a gazillion times better during his run on Uncanny. Even better than his work on Adjectiveless and for Image and definitely better than his work for DC. Maybe, because he was not "established" yet.

I agree, his art in X-Tinction Agenda was so good that the artists drawing the other issues in the crossover look really bad in comparison.

And I love Psylocke in this event: people may complain about her "ninjification", but here she managed to show her fighting skills and still use her intelligence (like when she pretended that she would accept to be turned into a mutate, then knock out her captors when they were distracted).

Betsy, Wolverine and Jubilee were a great team, by the way, regardless of how annoying Jubilee could be sometimes. I still hope that Jubilee and Gambit will eventually be added to the UXM team.

Fsaker,
I completely agree. In the early ninja days, Locke was still written with her own personality. Lodell amd Nicieza's reign was when things went south.

As for this crossover, you're correct. I recall how disgusted I was with the New Mutants and X-Factor issues drawn by Liefield and Bogdanove. I particularly hated the former's rendering of everyone and the latter's rendering of Jean and Rahne. Jean was literally all tits and ass and Rahne in her semi-lupine/mutate form looked like a monster. I distinctly recall being so excited when I saw the Jim Lee cover for the crossover's final isssu, but then opened it to see the pages were drawn by then X-Factor artist Bogdanove.
