#tbt: Uncanny X-Men #246

#tbt: Uncanny X-Men #246 – She then meets up with Psylocke and they talk about the problems Carol is having with 'sharing' Rogue‘s body; she also shows her the costume she wore as Ms. Marvel. Carol and Psylocke are walking down a street when Betsy telepathically hears the screams from the workmen. Carol flies to the site and sees Master Mold repairing himself with the construction materials. Written by Chris Claremont and Art by Marc Silvestri. Read full summary here.

I loved the rapport that Carol had with the X-Men ans her conversations with Elizabeth. Claremont was great at showing the anguish of both Carol and Rogue.

I guess Binary never visited her old friends at this time and even though she had her memories as restored by Xavier, she still had no e-motional connection to them? So the Carol persona im Rogue's body was one od the echoes thag she retains? Or more as it was substantive enough to be a viable alternate persona?

Didn't Magneto kill the Carol persona when it got its own body and went evil (after Rogue went through the Siege Perilous)? I don't think Rogue has any connection to it anymore. But Carol may have reacquired her emotional connection to her memories (or she just moved on and doesn't care about them anymore).

Anyway, has anyone read Uncanny X-Men #600? Does Psylocke appear in it at all? I know that she wasn't present in the preview pages, even though people like Northstar and Dazzler were there.

One of my favorite Psylocke character issues. Love the rapport the had.
