The scifi-fantasy of Excalibur along with the Krakoa initiative sounds like it might make this a fun ride. I dont like Carol at all recently and she used to he one of my fave non XMen heroes and now SheHulk recently revamped to become this horrific new character totally devoid of what made them popular to begin with and these are AVENGERS characters... Tini Howard will he the one who sets the standard for who Betsy will be going forward and imma call it now she wont be anything we even remotely once knew. They're totally going to change Betsy and allow Kwannon to claim the time she had in her body. I don't think Marvel wants to ever acknowledge her time as a ninja.; July 30, 2019 at 12:14 PM
Kevin said...: As far as I know, Tini is a good writer, so I'm gonna give her the benefit of the doubt. It1s a good thing Rogue, Gambit and Jubilee are around to reminds us that his is our Betsy. randybear said...: Kevin true I dont think Fallen Angel's will last long (realistically I dont think Exclaibur will either) but I dont see that stopping Marvel from shoehorning in Kwannon into XMen lore. Remember Cebulski LOVES ninja Psylocke so i can see he is doing his absolute best to preserve ninja Psylocke.

When Betsy lost Kwannons body everyone initially was shocked and worried about the Asian body but now that everything's settle so far its Betsy who has lost and was essentially "killed".

If Marcel wanted to create a completely new character they should have just killed Betsy and brought back Kwannon. Instead they kept Betsy and decided to reboot everything about her.

Seriously the helmet makes her look even more like a new Thor with the big red cape. Stand her next to Jane Foster when she was Thir and tell me they dont look very similar.; July 30, 2019 at 12:28 PM

Kwannon should wear the hand suit but with muted black and red colors and her hair black let her keep the TK and give her the crimson dawn and keep her in Wolverine or xforce titles.

Instead Betsy is being rebranded as Capdain Britan protector of Avalaon wearing a suit of armor and looking more "heroic" than any other Xman currently while Kwannon is already apparently besties with Wolverine. For giggles I always wanted Betsy to see what its like being with Bishop or Logan (whenshe was still in the Asian body) but I know a few who wouldn't want that to happen so maybe Logan and Kwannon might just be fun. What if Neal Shaara reenters the romantic picture. Marvel and Hollywood are crazy about representation. Like Pokemon gotta catch 'em all to own every one of each race, shiny or simple, Neal is Indian so he is perfect. Karima stars in HOX so his time has come.

She never explored her Captain Britain side fully, let's not forget she was also one, knowing that she was a white woman in an Asian body was cute for 1990-93 but in my personal opinion it was never 100% because I was like shes cool but there is this thing...
