Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Exodus #1 Spoilers

Utopia • Chapter 6

Spoilers: 7 days ago, Beast confronts Scott and Emma about the secrets both have been keeping. Now at the Utopia island, Osborn orders his Dark Avengers and Dark X-Men to attack the X-Men, and many battles are ensued. Colossus takes on Venom. Nekra, Bling! and Frenzy get their revenge on Moonstone. Psylocke and the X-Club beat Dark Beast. Iceman and the kids ambush the Mimic. X-23, Pixie and Armor fight Daken. Wolverine stabs Weapon Omega. Namor tries to stop the Sentry, but it's useless. Emma reaches Xavier and asks for his help so she can enter the Sentry's mind and lobotomize him. Emma succeeds and holds the Void inside his mind, so the Sentry can be himself again and take control. Horrified by his actions, the Sentry flees to outer space. As soon as Ares arrives, Dani Moonstar returns as a Valkyrie to stop him. Dani easily overcomes Ares and brings him down to his knees. While Osborn is busy fighting with Cyclops, Moonstone tells him there are too many mutants and that the only way to win is by killing them all, which they can't as there are cameras all around. With nothing left to do, Osborn decides to leave the island with his Avengers and X-Men. The X-Men celebrate their victory, as Cyclops gives a press conference telling the world that their island is sacred and no mutant will be harmed there. They're free. Back to the USA, Osborn too gives a press conference celebrating his victory for as long as the mutants remain on that island, no American citzen will have to worry about them anymore. Moments later, mutants from all around the world arrive at Utopia and start building their new home.

Notes: Psylocke only appears in what you all have already seen. Stabbing Dark Beast and one more little panel at the end of the issue. She has no lines too. So there's no need to post scans. But don't worry, there's some good stuff I'll post tomorrow!

At the H.A.M.M.E.R. headquarters in Alcatraz, Cloak and Dagger begin to have second thoughts about their actions, and Osborn orders his Avengers to get back to NY. Under the sea, Psylocke and Madison Jeffries manage to intall some devices on a huge piece of rock. Back to Alcatraz, Dark Beast and Weapon Omega are about to use the Omega Machine, when they realize that all their prisoners are gone. Turns out Mindee had led the X-Foce there, while Magik brought them back in safety. A battle is ensued, and the Dark X-Men are called. At Graymalkin, Cyclops learns the X-Club's mission was a success and gives them the order to "rise". In Alcatraz, the Dark X-Men are about to attack X-Force, but Emma Frost and Namor both betray them siding with the heroes once again. After realizing what's going on, Cloak and Dagger join the real X-Men too, and soon all of them are teleported out. Meanwhile, a huge island rises up out of the sea, at the San Francisco bay. Cyclops gathers all mutants and tells them that Emma and Namor are on their side and will explain it later. Scott gives a press conference and states that people wanted them out of the US, so they've left, after rejecting Osborn's programs against mutants and Trask's hate crimes. Osborn learns of his failure and orders his Avengers to bring Namor's head and Emma's heart.

Dark Avengers #7 Spoilers

Utopia • Chapter 3

Spoilers: At the H.A.M.M.E.R. headquarters in Alcatraz, Beast experiences the bad side effects of the Omega Machine. Norman Osborn argues with Dark Beast, because he was promised this machine would cause no harm. Meanwhile, the Dark X-Men battle the mutant rebels gathered by Hellion, and Emma's team easily defeat all of them. Cyclops arrives at Alcatraz and demands to talk to Osborn. Norman tries to persuade Scott in working together with him, but Cyclops tells him to surrender and get the hell out of his city, and that's his final word. As Scott leaves, Osborn promises he's a dead man. Inside the H.A.M.M.E.R. headquarters, the Dark Avengers are getting a little unpatient sitting there doing nothing, while the Dark X-Men get all the action. Cloak teleports all the prisoners and his teammates back to their HQ. Emma wants to be sure no prisoner is being abused or tortured, so she asks to see where the mutants are being kept. In the meantime, Bullseye and Daken provoke each other, resulting in a battle between both teams. Osborn and Dark Beast try to fool Emma, assuring that no harm is being done to the prisoners. Xavier senses Emma and contacts her telepathically. Charles tells her they're lying and that they're killing Beast. Emma aks to see McCoy, to which Norman replies that they don't have him. Emma then checks a cell that seems to be empty, but Xavier telepathically tells her she's looking at him. Turns out she can't see him because Dark Beast has installed image inducers. Emma promises Xavier that everything will work out for the best. At the St. Francis Hospital, Simon Traks entices his people into destroying all the mutants.

Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: Utopia #1 Spoilers

Utopia • Chapter 1

Spoilers: Simon Trask's Humanity Now! Coalition marches all the way to San Francisco. Mutants on the other side demand that they keep their right to procreation. Hellion and other students lose their minds and start pounding on everyone. What follows is crowd control by the police leading to the arrest of Beast. The Mayor tells Cyclops he should have controlled the mutants, and broadcast of the riots in San Francisco are shown around the world. Later that night, protests continue. Various mutants are shown marching in different areas all leading to City Hall. Riots break out everywhere involving mutants, humans and the police. Norman Osborn decides to step in. He imposes martial law on the state of California and sends in his Dark Avengers with orders to contain the crowds, protect civilians and arrest any mutant who breaks the law. While these riots are going on, Emma Frost goes to meet Norman. He tells her their deal was that she would keep mutants quiets and he would stay out of their business. Now Norman offers Emma a new plan: she will lead a team of mutants as the face of law and order. He then appears in front of press and declares Scott Summers a person to be arrested. Norman then introduces Professor Xavier to the journalists, who sides with Osborn and support his views. Beast, who is in a jail cell, is contacted by the real Charles Xavier, also arrested, who says that somehow they are taking their powers.

Notes: Writer Jason Aaron stated recently that Mystique will have a short story in the Dark X-Men: The Beginning mini-series. I guess now it's quite clear what role Mystique will play!

Silvestri's cover updated - Colored/Complete

Here's Silvestri's cover finalized and colored. Psylocke's hair is jet black not a hint or hue of purple so I'm guessing she really is back to Asian. Now since we have that confirmed, let's hope she's at least a telepath by then!

Uncanny X-Men/Dark Avengers #1 Variant

Here's the unfinished Marc Silvestri variant cover to the upcoming Uncanny X-Men/Dark Avengers one-shot that kicks off the summer crossover event. As you can tell from the cover Psylocke will indeed be returning to her Asian body and in her old Jim Lee costume. I have to say I'm very disappointed in this decision to make her Asian again. Oh well at least she's back in the main titles again and looks like she's going to be more than just wallpaper.
