Spoilers: The false world that Nate Grey created comes crumbling down as the rebellious mutants awaken from their dreamlike state. Nate explains that rather than an alternate universe, it’s a separate plane of existence that exists within Nate Grey himself created when the Life Seed merged with him after the Battle of Disassembled. X-Man sees his actions as saving the X-Men, while the X-Men themselves see it as both abandoning those left on Earth and living a half-life without companionship or love. Ultimately, the thesis is that relationships are what define the X-Men, and subtracting them takes away far more than what could ever be gained. Even Nate Grey is affected by his relationships, his subconscious creating a second Danielle Moonstar that exists solely within the Age of X-Man. The Marvelous X-Men are unsure about what they want. Some like Nightcrawler and Nature Girl want to stay, while others like Jean Grey and Storm want to return to their world, especially after seeing Cyclops’ X-Men in desperate need of help. On the other hand, the X-Tracts support X-Man’s vision, while the Prisoners want their life back. Nate Grey decides to restore everyone’s memories and original forms. They all have to go or all have to stay, it’s all or none. The mutants created specifically for the Age of X-Man cannot leave either. Magneto takes matter in his own hands and decides to plunge the Life Seed through Nate’s chest as it is the only way to end this. Elsewhere, Blob tells Psylocke it won’t be the same after they go back. Betsy replies that’s what makes it beautiful. As Magneto stays behind, the others travel through the fissures in the space-time continuum and return home. Magneto tells Nate his vision wasn’t fully formed thanks to the misguided rules and policing that Nate Grey enforced. A deal is struck: a piece of Magneto stays behind with Nate so they can dream it all up again from scratch, while the real Magneto returns home with the others. The Age of X-Man ends and begins again.

Ah Blobsy! You were weird and cute at the same time.
Great concept with a somewhat wanting execution. I wish the writers involved all the best and may they evolve themselves and their ideas.
Betsy's uniform looks cute here. We rarely see it from the back.
Also, FYI: Looks like Cypher and Sage are back in the fold for HOX! That is fantastic! I would love to see Psylocke reconnect with them as she was tight with both of them. Cypher when she first joined the school and Sage during X-Treme and Exiles.
Thanks for the information!
By the way, apparently Psylocke also appears in the final issue of Uncanny X-Men. Though from what I'm reading on forums, that issue is embarrassingly bad. Hickman will have a hard time cleaning up Rosenberg's mess (and it looked so promising at first...).
And yes, Blobsy is a weird couple but somehow the writer made it work. If Blob manages to keep the personality he had in AoXM, I support this couple.
If he reverts back to the disgusting jerk he's always been, then keep him as far away from Betsy as possible.
UXM #22 was the worst comic book I've read in a long time. Thank god Rosenberg's run is finally over. He killed off so many characters for no good reason. I still don't get why Blindfold had to kill herself.
So many characters got killed off its sad. Where the heck is Kwannon anyway...back in Japan? As much as I want her back with the X-Men with a new codename a fresh start, maybe join the Agents of Atlas.
My god it was bad!! Alex and Cyclops literally fight a Sentinel for 5 seconds before Alex is like "lemme sacrifice myself real quick"
@randybear this whole half part of the series is a killfest!!!! I haven't seen this much since Second Coming and What If? AvX.
I already saw Banshee in the HoX preview so in guessing there will be resurrections or some plot that explains them returned.
Speaker of Cypher and Sage, I really hope that Hickman throws Prodigy in the mix with them. Those three would be a great trio with their powers and intellect and so loving the former two being the "IT Team" on Krakoa's backend.
Yeah I'd like a new XClub with Sage leading, Cypher, Prodigy, Dr Nemesis maybe Forge too hehe
@Randy, definitely Forge. And add Dr. Cecilia to the mix, and we'll be ready to go!
PS: Maybe also include Madison Jeffries. I still hold a grudge against Dr. Kavita Roa though! LOL.
What did Kavita do?? Or do you mean just from the jump with her initial debut with the Cure vaccine?
What if HOX and POX will show that a lot of the missions we saw of the Xmen were actually virtual reality simulations? And once they awaken that's when the true adventure starts and everyone finally know the Xmen? That would be a cool way to introduce them in the MCU
I refuse to believe any of Age of X-Man happened. I am erasing it from my brain, just as it has been erased from reality... Except not really I guess, because X-Man and fake Magneto stayed behind to build a new world. Let's just never mention them again.
@randy, you. The vaccine. I have a long memory. I don't mess with Kavita. LOL.
Yeah I agee. She was irredeemable from the jump for me too and not very interesting IMO. And i hope no one attacks me because shes a POC
@randybear, nah. You're good. There are unlikable non-white characters as there are unlikable white ones. I have no use for her as one of the non-mutant allies. I'll take Stevie, Karima, and Moira among others any day over Kavita.
Matthew Rosenberg is a fan of Havok. He relates to him having an older brother in real life. He killed his favorite hero for nothing. The worst run for Uncanny X-Men to date.
I too want a data squad with Sage, Cypher, Forge and Prodigy throw in Trinary and your IT X-Squad is complete.
I expected the last issues of AoXM and Uncanny X-Men would feature more than Psylocke's butt and background cameo. She helped in the battle against the sentinels so I'm fine.
