Colossus and Havok arrive, and Havok, angry at Emma, blasts her using his powers. Psylocke, X23 and OML corner Medusa, Reader and Frank. Psylocke threatens Medusa and they fight. Reader tells Medusa they need to retreat but Medusa wants to make a stand. Just then, Ahura arrives in a big ship. The ship contains Forge and the NuHumans. Medusa is relieved to see Ahura and Iso, who tell her the truth about why the mutants attacked. Medusa claims they could’ve just asked her. Moon Girl and the NuHumans hand Medusa the control to the “terrigen eater”. As the cloud is about to hit and kill Magneto, Medusa hits the button causing the machines to suck up the terrigen. Emma is not satisfied and wants the attacks to continue. Teen Cyclops jumps in and exposes the truth about Cyclops. Storm asks Emma if it’s true and she gladly admits it saying it’s what Cyclops would’ve wanted. She then takes out her own remote and says “so is this.” Explosions! Mega Super Sentinels show up! Emma has turned them against the Inhumans. Emma mocks Medusa asking her how it feels. The sentinels blow up the “terrigen eaters”. Emma wonders why she didn’t do that earlier. OML saves the life of a grateful Inferno. Forge reveals Emma must’ve gotten in his head to build the sentinels. Cerebra goes to stop them, but Magneto blows them up. Emma thanks him and Magneto replies: It’s like I always tell people… Emma was right! Medusa and Black Bolt fly up together to stop Magneto and Emma. Johnny surprises them all by blowing up a mega sentinel, which allows Medusa to hit Emma and knock her out. Magneto comes to his senses as Emma was controlling him. As Medusa holds a diamond Emma with her hair, Storm destroys the rest of the sentinels. Medusa gives a speech about how much Cyclops’ death tormented her. Medusa then tries to kill Emma, but Havok blasts her. He tells Emma he’s doing this for Cyclops and not her. The two teleport away.

Muir Island: Storm, Jean, and OML meet with Beast to release him and apologize. Medusa narrates that Emma, who’s on the run, is now wanted by the X-Men as much as the Inhumans.

New Attilan: Medusa abdicates, and Iso is the new Queen of New Attilan. For the first time in 200 years, the Inhuman society will hold free elections. Medusa thinks love drove Emma mad and so she dumps Johnny Storm as she makes amends with Black Bolt.

Inhumans Vs. X-Men #1 Spoilers

Spoilers: A group of X-Men (Rogue, Storm, Beast, Old Man Logan, Emma Frost, Young Beast, Magneto, Forge) discusses the last Terrigen Mist cloud. Beast reveals that he's out of time, and mutants only have 2 weeks before the cloud spreads across the whole planet. His only options are to leave the planet or die. Emma reveals that she has had a back-up plan in the past 8 months in case Storm's plan of peaceful co-existence fails. Magneto says to fight, refusing the mutants to be gassed. Beast is against this, with first-hand experience on the Inhumans and what they're capable of. Emma next outlines her plan to systematically take out the key Inhuman threats, starting with Karnak, who knows the truce will fail from his ability to sense weaknesses. Logan reminds Emma of the threat Lockjaw presents in jumping Inhumans around. They have a vote. Rogue votes no. Forge abstains. The rest are pro-attacking. Beast is outraged and walks out to warn the Inhumans, but Storm blasts Beast with a lightning bolt, revealing she was a part of Emma and Magneto's plan the whole time.

Later, at Black Bolt's club, a mysterious VIP wants to speak to him, whilst new performer 'Lady Shine' has been very successful. Emma is in the club, chatting with Black Bolt. She invites 'Lady Shine' in the room and declares the truce is over. Lady Shine pulls a gun out on Black Bolt, and he uses his power, saying "Don't". Lady Shine is actually Dazzler. Emma punches Black Bolt in the throat with her diamond form "for Cyclops" and Dazzler redirects the energy stored into Black Bolt, leaving him down.

Emma sends a mutant on Karnak's way. The mutant visiting Karnak is actually Jean Grey, and she's keeping him distracted in a time loop, replaying conversations six times over. Gorgon and Crystal are helping rescue a Russian mutant in Chechnya just before the cloud arrives. The Russian rescued mutant is actually Magneto, and he destroys the ship and holds everyone on board in metal, claiming he is the only one who saves mutants. Cut to Ms Marvel walking Lockjaw, when the dog suddenly disappears whilst she is on the phone. Fantomex knocks out Lockjaw with some drug.

At New Attilan, Medusa and Johnny Storm prepare new children to undergo terrigenesis until Torch notices something coming. Johnny flames on, Medusa wants to maintain their truce and talk, but if they want a fight, they will fight. The X-Men then dash towards New Attilan, including Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Old Man Logan, Magik, Iceman, Magneto, Psylocke, Sabretooth, Monet, Archangel, Sunfire, Strong Guy, Youn Cyclops, Young Angel, Young Iceman and Oya.

SDCC: Lemire, Soule, Yu Wade Into War With "Inhumans vs. X-Men"

CBR: The X-Men and Inhumans are going to war. As announced during the "Marvel: Cup O'Joe" panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego, two of Marvel's super-powered populations will clash just as the Inhuman Terrigen Mist increases its damaging impact on the mutant race. "Inhumans vs. X-Men" will put the two groups up against each other for the fight of their lives -- literally.

Writers Jeff Lemire ("Extraordinary X-Men") and Charles Soule ("Death of X") will team-up for the series, which will see the X-Men and Inhumans wage war over the mists that kill mutants but create Inhumans. Leinil Yu ("Star Wars") will handle the art on this six-issue limited series, which launches this winter.

"Inhumans vs. X-Men" #1 arrives kicks off this winter, and stay tuned to CBR for more details about the event.
