Unrelated but it irks me how everyone used that one image of Betsy at the end of Excalibur #1 where its miscolored. Her collar red and her gloves colored light blue. Everyone uses that one image as a reference and its funny how the colorist error is now just at the forefront of everyone's mind whos familiar with CB Betsy.
When people color gloves light blue they look like medical surgical gloves to me. And the collar should be blue. The chest plate features an X in red but you can hardly notice that detail with the collar being collared red as it "mishapes" the X if that makes sense.
I love how Asrar has enough balls to tweet out sometimes how his designs SHOULD be drawn because if an artist designs something it should he respected and followed, someone like a colorist shouldn't take creative liberties with someone else's work IMO.
Anyway, I digress, the preview looks boring lmao
@randybear Marvel won't stick with one good costume for Betsy. When it does in the trash with it. Mahmud Asrar should tell off Marvel for throwing out Betsy's Disassembled. The colorists get dizzy with the main world and Otherworld costume switches they mess them up.
Marvel has to get over the obsession for bathing suits for female characters. Females look the same with touches here and there. Selene, Candra, OG Scarlet Witch, OG Polaris, OG White Queen, OG Ms. Marvel, Mystique, Elektra, Ninjalocke is a copy paste bathing suit.
Saw Selene in nun habit and wondered who's that badass. She was mysterious and evil in the preview. How'd I know it was her? She Italian fox. Marvel has one good idea serves it and bins it. So much for creativity.
Kiki I think you're right. The 2 variants of her CB outfit forms do change color placement (noticeably her collar) and i think the colorist is lazy and colors both forms collars red) yes im bitching lmao
For me its just ANOTHER outfit of Betsys that's miscolored.
Her Greg Land outfit was supposed to be purple with pink sash but artists got lazy and colored it all purple and it looked bland.
Then of course her Asrar design was loke colored correctly once and ironically in its final appearance in Excal #1
Now her CB outfit, not surprising with its busy details, is also miscolored.
If i was an editor theres no way details like that would slide but wtf do I know. Jordan need time to tweet stupid jokes and shove his face with food all day to put any effort in his job.
@randybear bitchin for truths and call out wacks is good. HoX&PoX dies and the books are bad fillers worse than the fillers Kardashians pay to get. X-bomb goes off in the sky and humans start go tits up. Inhumans vibes.
Ororo and Monet have been bleached and that is a colorist-editor fault.

In variants Ninjalocke's hair color is painted purple and dark purple. Why?

Fortnite variants too, the game and comic crossovers. Isn't Epic Games informed that Ninjalocke is Japanese inside out?

And why is Ninjalocke so friendly with Storm, Mystique and Domino, since when?

Pixie is another color mess. Her hair were originally black with hot pink highlights.

Yes I've noticed the weird way they've been coloring Storm and M. They look blue/purplish. I saw the preview for Storm Giant Size and it seems corrected now but it took them how long?
I'm not a fan of that particular colorist tbh. I think its the same dude that likes coloring Betsys hair pink smh its sad that fans have to let colorists know what they're doing wrong because editorial just doesn't care.
This is why its important if you feel a certain way within reasonable means, its always best to contact them directly on social media and let them know in a polite way. If not, don't expect it to get fixed.
This is my logic on the butterfly I wish more people would just tell editorial to allow it back but people ignoring it as if its going to fix itself isn't going to happen. We already see Kwannon in Fornite using the butterfly imagery lol but people are still like "oh yeah betsy will get the butterfly back 🤗🤓"
I killed my social media in like ages. I was beating Bojack Horseman to reach powerful people cause they got all them hippie bouncers to shield them. Creative users popped and got ignored. Companies know best what's good for you.
I wrote Betsy is Psylocke symbols and all and was a bigot. I wrote Storm needs afro and Emma pants I was sexist. Campaigned for Karma and Kitty to be together and I upset the Katlossus shippers. Their hypocrisy had me stuffed. People keep it hush hush about Ninjalocke cause secretly get off with the string and don't admit to it not to be called sexists but I'm sexist for wanting change and justice.
If your opinion is left field like Selene in nun habit or Revanche in actual ninja wardrobe you're tossed aside.
I struggle with Excalibur. I don't want to drop it and bring her down and I don't want Betsy to be a goon with a hairy ball for telepathy. It is easy to write Betsy the same as before but in her body. Writers make it hard to get back at her fans.
