Dances with Banshee? Random lol Marvel is anti Betsy and Warren would it have been so hard to just show her dancing with Warren in the background somewhere? Instead they just want to shove Rachel down Betsys throat

Really lazy art. But, it's been a standard for awhile.

It looks like her arm was cut off and Banshee is holding up her arm nub

To be fair, I didn't see her interaction with Rachel as a romantic one; to me, it felt like just two friends having fun dancing.

And it would be weird to pair them up right now, anyway, after the several indications of a future Betsy/Wisdom affair. Yes, she was upset with the reason why he attended the gala, but it's not like he used her (quite the opposite, as he used the opportunity to warn her about Coven Akkaba, which is something I think she'd WANT to know). And yes, he was murdered, but the Five can easily resurrect him.

I'm fine with any pairing she gets (Warren, Wisdom, even Rachel), as long as it's properly written (for instance, Fantomex isn't the kind of character we'd usually like to see Betsy being romantically involved with, but Remender made this romance work during his UXF run). But Betsy's relationship with Wisdom is one of the few things in Excalibur where Howard's writing is doing a good job (with their attraction being developed slowly and in a convincing way), so I don't see why she would change it now.

Well to be fair, they did have Warren and Betsy together in that alternate universe, which kinda signals he loves her for her and not her body (which obviously we always knew lol). I could have done without KW as the ex though lol.

Tini Howard wrote a good Pete Wisdom and killed him. Betsy and Wisdom are interesting and work on friendly terms and sexual terms. Fantomex was the spy who loved me and transitioned. For that mishap the hell gates opened to call Betsy queer. She is queer and Betsy's queerness is efficiency at killing.
