Am I missing something? I thought Betsy couldn't cry? Does this comic book not follow along with the events of Uncanny X-Force or what?? Either way, seems like a great issue!
This may very well take place before the events of X-Force. I don't think this is a big deal.
Anyway, Wood and Lopez are killing in this title. This book has become a must read overnight! These two are great together. I am in love with the way Lopez draws the butterfly power-signature!
I love that we're seeing the 'Ro/Bets friendship from the Outback days highlighted again! In fact, we have three of the Outback all-stars here on this team!
It's not that Betsy can't cry she's lost her ability to feel sorrow she could cry out of frustration or anger I know I do sometimes!
I too am loving the Betsy /Ro friendship but do you think Storm will be pissed if she finds out Betsy's involved with X-force?
And what happened to Betsy leading a security team? She doesn't seem to be doing much leading but she works well with Storm and would like to see more interaction with Domino.
She still does lead the security team. Magneto recently mentioned that in an AvX tie-in issue. The security team is defensive/preventive to threats that may attack Utopia. They don't really do anything off the isle. I think that's why they don't have a title of their own. The Street team would have more use for a title, actually. However, since Alison Blaire leads that squad and Marvel seems to love back-burning her these days, that has a snowball's chance in hell.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Great book, indeed. It's amazing how much it has improved since Wood became the new writer.
I just hope it won't be cancelled or given to Bendis when AvX is over...

Miss_Braddock,
