Awesome team lineup. Can anyone fill someone who hasn't been reading this title in on what's going on? I love to see Lorna & Alex back, & with Psylocke, Gambit, Colossus no less. I don't understand who anyone else is though. Is that Firebird or Spiderwoman or just a random person on the bottom right panel?
@kaioni - Don't worry, you're not the only one confused; the New Avengers tie-in issues have been confusing.
But the plot of this last issue is that Luke Cage, Hawkeye and Spider-Woman were imprisoned by the X-Men during the AvX war. So they manage to break free from their cells but meet these X-Men (plus Cyclops and Emma Frost); nevertheless, they manage to escape. In the end, though, it turns out that all this action (including the encounter with Psylocke and the other X-Men) was only part of Danger's virtual reality simulation; the three of them are still imprisoned with their minds connected to this simulation, which happens over and over again.
But Havok and Polaris did return to the X-Men (at least during AvX), as the two of them appeared in issue #7 of the event.
Thanks FSaker! That sounds really confusing. Wow you're right haha. I did find a cool Polaris blog - lornadane.blogspot.com . Really bright but updated. I think Psylocke Like a Butterfly is the best one out there (does Marvel know that!) though. I'll stick with X factor & UXF. The story you explained sounds way too much haha. Thank you!
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.
