Oh dear, sounds like Psylocke gets taken out or kidnapped in AOA arc. Hope it's nothing bad...
Yeah, I hope she doesn't end up dead (again) or trapped in the AoA. The woman is finally getting great characterization again, in a top comic book, after years and years being stuck to bad Claremont plots and even worse Fraction plots. She deserves to shine in the spotlight a little bit longer than that.
I swear if they kill her or leave her in some second rate dimension I will drop all x-men comics!
Finally all the x-men are in one place (with the exception of X-factors mutants) and the writer don't know what to do with half of the characters so their solution is to kill them off or ditch them in a corner where you can avoid mentioning or writing about them.
My dream-team to oppose Cyke's post Schism X-Men:
Storm (leader)
Wolvie (co-leader)
Archangel
Psylocke
Rogue
Dazzler
Colussus
Iceman
Shadowcat
Gambit
Cecilia Reyes
Northstar
I wonder if if all the split X-men will stay in the Bay Area after Schism or if some will go back to NY or elsewhere?
Oh for fucks sake, please don't kill her or trap her in AOA or do something else horrible to her.
I mean, I'm hoping she only got injured before Uncanny X-Force 15, nothing too bad or permanent but bad enough that she can't fight in the issue.
Of course she could be a member of Archangels army for some reason.
Or she could be taking care of the obviously messed up Wolverine.
But seriously I'm getting a little bit tired and pissed being worried about my favourite character.
Anyone else think they should do an Age Of Apocalypse ongoing?
Same here, jarim77. My pessimism just keeps telling me she's probably hurt or worse, but I'm really hoping your second theory is what happened.
Don't fret y'all. She's not dead. She's on the Schism cover. and we all know that Marvel does unintentionally post spoilers by releasing cover images months in advance.
Recall the uproar when we all saw that "Dark X-Men/Utopia" cover with Elizabeth back in the Asian body and Hand suit right in the middle of the abominable "Sisterhood" arc and everyone knew that fraction had pulled a bait-n-switch and yanked our chains before "Sisterhood" ended.
@Rahsaan, so true, guess we're gonna have to wait another 3 months to find out :(
For what it's worth I just recently asked Remender if he was going to touch on Psylocke's relationship with her brother since they haven't had panel time in long time. His answer was 'year two'.
Well, although this doesn't confirm that she will be okay (teasers tend to be misleading sometimes), Psylocke appears in a teaser for the new status quo for the X-Men after Schism: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=32818
Personally, I would prefer her to side with Logan (although Scott may become less of a jerk under Gillen's pen), but as long as she's still alive and well and kicking ass on a major X-Book, I'm fine with that!
It would be kinda intersting if she would go undercover to Cyke's team and report to her X-Force mates via TP.
