Surprisingly nice cover, coming from Land. Psylocke looks okay, not her best portrayal ever, but at least she's not with a porn face or those freaky smiles. And her posing is dynamic, which is good.
Kitty, on the other hand, is very ugly in this cover. I know she's not supposed to look like a supermodel and it's great that for once Land isn't using a supermodel or a porn actress as reference for a character, but he could have at least traced an average-looking woman to draw her.
Hey, I just noticed now: shouldn't Psylocke, Angel and Northstar be absent from this cover? Unless it's just an illustrative cover with no representation of who will be in the actual story.
Since this next arc takes place during Fear Itself, Betsy and Warren are supposed to be fighting the Purifiers in the Uncanny X-Force tie-in, and Northstar is supposed to be with the Alpha Flight team...
Yeah, I forgot about Wolverine constantly being everywhere, with the Avengers, New Avengers, X-Men, X-Force and solo... damn, even Madrox can't be in so many places at the same time!
...Changing subject for a little while, this week Marvel will release issue #6 of the Avengers: The Children's Crusade maxiseries. Although the huge battle between the Avengers and the X-Men is announced only for next issue, the X-Men will most likely arrive where Wanda and the Avengers are by the end of this issue, so can anyone please check it out on Wednesday and tell us if Psylocke is among the X-Men sent to get Wanda or not?
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Now FSaker.. when have you ever know Marvel to give serious consideration to continuity?

I'd much rather ALL the X-Men stay away from Wanda right now. Wolverine has proved to already be enough.
Wanda?!?!? Has she regained her memory and gone insane yet again? I thought she was living amnesiac in some remote, European, mountainside village.
