X-Force #27 Spoilers

Spoilers: It's mutants versus Nimrods. The battle is brutal. Everyone does all the best they can. The first wave of Nimrods is destroyed, but Bastion gets what he wants: he activates a portal to the Days of Future Past timeline. Hellion loses both his hands and Iceman ends up with third degree energy burns over 25% of his body. The city is well past panic. Back in Utopia, at the conference room, Beast states to the others that the dome is physically impenetrable and the sphere is connecting their timeline to the one the Nimrods originated from. Prodigy adds that more than 170.000 Nimrods are on their way right now. Cyclops decides to use Cable's last time-jump to send a team into that future and shut the central A.I. down. He wants Cypher to access the system and rewrite it, and X-Force to protect him. Storm says she's not aware of any X-Force team, and Beast tells Cyclops to tell everyone about the killers he had assembled. Storm says they'll have a lot to talk about if they survive this. Scott then orders Psylocke to get people far away from the sphere, and Rogue to evacuate humans and non-combatants to the Atlantean column. As for the rest, everyone who can fight, fights. X-Force, Cable and Cypher jump to the future. Cyclops says they only had one time-jump left: he just killed his son.

PS: Psylocke has one little scene in Dazzler #1 too. Spoilers later!

anger—the sentient, humanoid realization of the X-Men's Danger Room—has also been a Legacy supporting character of late. She'll be back as well.

"We will see Danger, not immediately after Second Coming, but the arc that follows that, which we're tentatively calling 'Fables of the Reconstruction,'" Carey says, acknowledging the R.E.M. reference. "All the X-Men powerhouses will at least be glimpsed in that story: Colossus will be in there, Psylocke will be in there. A big roster there."

Well, technically Cyclops didn't kill Cable: he just let Cable stuck in the DOFP future. Okay, not the best place to survive, but as far as we know, Cable might be able to survive many years there... Cypher and Domino, not so much.

Psylocke is getting a huge responsibility, isn't she? To get everyone away from the sphere, she'll probably need to get close to it first (so that she can send whoever is next to it away) - and that means that the Nimrods may see her as their primary target. Let's hope she can fulfill her mission!

And let's hope that Fraction won't make the level of this event crumble again next week...

Sigh, did Beast really say 'killers'? You think that the blue furball couldn't get more annyoing but apparently he can.

I like how much of a powerhouse and warrior Betsy is in this issue.

Betsy was great in her scenes this issue.

She was also, really awesome in her scene in the Dazzler one shot. It was really good with great art and highly recommened. The artist draws a stunning Betsy.

Well, I don't blame Beast this time; X-Force is a disrespect to everything the X-Men have always fought for. One can say that they are just killing killers, that their victims were willing to kill mutants, but their actions are less self-defense than terrorism.

Although he can't say much, since he indirectly killed Forge, his "artificial mutants" and every single being from an alternate world... Someone else should have criticized this; Nightcrawler would be the ideal guy, but unfortunately he's dead.

By the way, what about Psylocke in Second Coming Revelations: Blind Science?? I know that she appears in a flashback of the X-Club's trip to the past in one of the first pages, but it seems that they end up in a future where mutants became predators... does she appear in this future? Is she one of these evil mutants?

No, I think she was just in the flashback.

Did the "regular" X-Force members go into the future or just a select few?

@4:59 Anonymous - All of the current X-Force members. That is: Wolverine, X-23, Archangel and Domino (remember, Vanisher died two issues ago and Elixir, Wolfsbane and Warpath all decided to quit the team after Necrosha; in other words, neither of the three are even at Utopia by now).

The team sent to future, therefore, is: Cable, Cypher, Wolverine, X-23, Archangel and Domino. One of them will supposedly die in the future; I'd hope it's Domino (never saw her purpose in the X-line), but Cable is the most likely candidate...

Domino has a one shot thing coming up, im guesing its Cable which sucks, ever since Domino threatened one of the cuckoos with a gun i just cant stand her lousy attitude.

I'd be pissed if Domino died... But yeah, she has that one-shot.. whats it called "Sex and Violence" ?

Also, X-23 can't die either... If she does.. then I'll probly be done with X-Men..

Tho Cable looks like the likely candidate to kick the "bucket" Will be sad still..

Just because Domino has a one shot with Wolverine coming up does not mean she'll live through this.
"Sex & Violence" could take place before SC.
Just saying..
