Can Betsy catch a break from coloring bloopers? Is it soooo hard ppl?

The leggings are white not blue. The thigh high boots are blue.

Thank the editors for the purple in her hair and tk sword. Amen!

It's a new suit

For real, @Kiki. He is dreamy.

Kylun!

I had that exact reaction, and love that I came to the comments and every was exactly the same.

@lucasg_i I think the new suit is supposed to have white leggings and a cape too, but I actually prefer this look with blue leggings & no cape lol.

Rahsaan said...

Benjamin, right! I was so happy to see him! And I am so happy to have company in my elation!

Rahsaan said...

@Kiki @Benjamin I hope that Kylun is one of the two surprise members of the team. There are supposed to be 10 Knights total as the title is Knights of X, with X being the Roman numeral for 10.

That Mark Brooks cover is so nice. Id love to see him do a variant for Knights

Lucas the new look has white leggings and blue thigh high boots. Invert that and the whole style is wasted. I'm tired to be fashion police to Marvel editors FFS!

Kiki M. Ishola said...

X-Man ditto! Rip and shred the cape all Betsy needs is the rest of the suit colored correctly same for her hair always.

Me too I love him! His cheery personality is what I want with Jubilee gone.

Jubes better be fine or...

"by finding the holy grail of mutantkind"

...So mutantkind has a holy grail. That is in Otherworld for some reason.

Okay, then. To be fair, it's not like KoX is the only book with a weird solicitation; what are the Marauders doing in Shi'ar space, of all places they could be? And while I'm happy to know that Madelyne is back and took Limbo from Illyana, how did she even come back to life?

As for the X-books preparing for the Judgment Day event... well, having the X-Men go to war against TWO other supergroups seems like the last thing we'd want to read. Then again, it's Gillen writing it, so maybe this will be a good war event unlike AvX and IvX.

Still, it's quite interesting that once again Marvel will have yet another event of superheroes going to war against each other, at the same time that DC will have yet another event that has superheroes dealing with a multiversal crisis (the event is even titled Dark Crisis)... but I must admit that I LOVED the Dark Nights: Death Metal event (which is a Crisis event in all but name).

I can't believe Tini is going to have a second part of the aberration Excalibut was, the bitch is also going to write and ruin Secret X-Men.
Really, there is somebody somewhere that enjoys that crap that she writes?
Ugh

ralv said...

I hate her writing as well but I’ll never see the point or motivations for you calling her a bitch.

I'm impressed Kylun an old ally returns to Excalibur so to speak.

He is a welcome addition to the roster. I'm happy others are excited to see him. Being inclusive of unconventionally looking mutants like Kylun, Meggan and Bei is heartwarming in comic fandom.

Jaime Braz said...

@Randybear the cover for Knights of X is amazing. The psionic sword of Betsy lost the hilt and no longer looks like a light saber. Progress in the making.

Jaime Braz said...

@Kuno to readers Tini Howard is divisive.

During her Excalibur run the rocky parts and mischaracterization moments were many. The script execution left a lot to be desired and a good amount of content was left unexplained with a sudden ending.

Howard can draw criticism without letting out expletives. Let us remain civil and try to help optimize the writing with polite discourse.

randybear said...

Jaime yes lol Literally the first thing I checked when I looked over this cover 😆

Speaking of styling, would y’all be big mad if Rachel went back to wearing that mullet with the braided ponytail again? 😂

This Knights look is one her best yet. Thank goodness.

FSaker said...

I agree, Rachel looks pretty cool in these covers!

Although I don't think her KoX outfit would actually fit with the Krakoan society once the team manages to return home (unlike Betsy's, which I think she could still wear even after KoX is over).

Rahsaan said...

Yes, I am happy as Rachel usually has terrible wardrobe choices.
