Lots of things going on... then again, Marvel does need lots of things if they want to fill NINE books each month. And that's not counting Cable's solo book, which isn't commented in the article but maybe will still be published.
Looking at Scott and Jean, and after reading the XoS spoilers, I wonder: was she kicked out of the Quiet Council for good? Or will she be accepted back to the council now that the war with Arakko is over?
Legion returns it seems and I want to know where he has been and what he is up to. Also Nate Grey after the Age of X-Man.
Pretty art but nothing in this "whats to come' looks exciting. Although I am glad we finally see what happened to Laura, Synch and Darwin after entering the Vault.
Nate's story was pretty conclusive though, he said in his reality

@Eoleo Glebatruss @lucasg_i Nate Grey has created a pocket timeline for himself and has with him a portion of Magneto's soul. We will see if Hickman incorporates this plot thread to his story.
The outcome that interests me the most from the XoS ending was Apocalypse and Jean leaving two vacant seats at the Quiet Council. I wish Betsy fills the spot on Summer table and sits next to Ororo and Kurt as the heart and moral compass of the X-Men. Especially after Shaw proposed the X-Men name be dismissed and won by majority of votes.
I'd prefer Betst in the Autumn table instead replacing Apocalypse.
I'll be satisfied if she just comes back. No need for her to join the council (but I wouldn't complain if she did).
And since the Arakko situation was already solved, shouldn't Jean just be accepted back into the council? There's no reason for her to remain kicked out of it.
To think I feared Ninjalock would steal Warren from Betsy too. M did before the Japanese stalker could snatch more from Betsy. Psylocke and butterfly I'm looking at you.

Recall that Broo ate the king egg. That is bound to be drama down the line.
If that's Broo, that's quite a transformation. Whoever that being is, it doesn't look like a Brood alien (but it looks just as scary).
Speaking of Broo, I wonder if I should try to read the Wolverine and the X-Men series. Recently I was re-reading Gillen's UXM run and enjoyed it a lot, and I remembered that when the Regenesis era started, I had high expectations for both lead books, as it seemed like Gillen's book would be like Claremont in his heyday, while Aaron's would be more like Morrison's deconstruction of the X-Men. Still, I dropped Aaron's run on the very first issue, as it felt too silly, almost cartoony, with most characters acting like parodies of themselves.
But then again, first issues aren't always the best in a comic book run. And I did hate Morrison's run the first time I read it, only to fall in love with it some years later. Maybe now it's time to give Aaron the same chance.
I recently reread W&XMen and I really only enjoyed the first 20 or so issues and then it just got really dumb lol

Please bring out Betsy back!!! It sucks how the Excalibur run did things to her. PS... please burn that green/yellow Marvel Girl costume, prefer her X-Men Red Green/Gold version look better.
There are 4 "contemporary" characters (if you count X-23 and Kid Omega) seen in this promo, introduced since 2000. There are 2 introduced in the past year- the Arraki summoner and Bei. 4 characters in shadow (Vulcan and crew ?) are possibly seen. This shows how difficult it can be to sell new characters printed for readers across ages or if your demographic skews older, perhaps.

@Rahsaan, I do! I just found it weird that whoever's head that is, it has a wide two-dimensional mouth; still, it does have traits from Broo. I hope Marvel doesn't mess him up too much (and that whatever happens to him isn't permanent); I like him the way he is.
@randybear, 20 or so issues is quite a lot, so if you managed to enjoy that run until it reached 20 issues, that's impressive. I guess I really should try to find the magazines with the W&XM issues published here... Thanks for the feedback!
