Spoilers: Pestilence tries to comfort Psylocke. Betsy doesn’t care and defeats her. She runs away, only to be stopped by the hands of the AoA Blob. Meanwhile, at the town Genocide destroyed, Archangel and Dark Beast plan to use the life seed and The World’s time manipulation to begin a new evolution of species, emerging new types of creatures, spanning millions of years in just two real days. They’ll do the same with the entire planet. Fantomex, Deadpool and Deathlok track the World’s energy signature and find Famine, Death and Archangel outside the World. Famine uses his powers on Deadpool once more, while Archangel and Fantomex fight. Death’s powers are useless against Deathlok, who ends up beheading the Horseman. Fantomex manages to hurt Archangel, but Genocide comes to his rescue and they run away. Deathlok catches Famine and forces him to tell them where Archangel went. Famine cracks and reveals they’re in an Akkaba city underneath the North Pole. In San Francisco, Archangel and Dark Beast talk to the Dreaming Celestial. Archangel explains his mission to protect his kind from the weaker species. Dark Beast tells Archangel it’s time for him to choose his heir as every Apocalypse has its death. Archangel takes the Death Seed from the Celestial and says there’s only one candidate to be his successor… Psylocke.

not Betsy as an horseman too! with her that would be three Deaths in the x-force team... i don't know if i like the idea, that'd be no good for her overcrowded mind
Not a horseman... an Apocalypse herself! :o
Betsy would be the most badass Death ever.
And damn. Deathlok really did the nasty on Famine.
It was cool seeing Deathlock finally unleash his crazy side! Awesome seeing the horsemen get their asses handed to them lol
Too bad there wasn't much Psylocke in this issue, but it was still really entertaining!
A good read and liking everything that is happening. "Ooh's" and "Ahh's" at the end. Guess that pretty much solidifies that being Betsy on the cover of issue 17. Her costume in this was different, yet still familiar in likeness to her original. I can dig it. But if issue 17 holds true, then we can expect to see her in yet another costume.
Also: Loved Deadpool eating everything to keep himself alive. Fantomex and Deadpool's lines were perfect for them when they interacted.
@Vigmed
Well we know that someone becomes the new Death. But the only thing we have on Betsy being the new Death is that one cover. And sometimes covers and teasers are misleading.
(I mean we just had the teaser with Cable and dead Avengers).
We'll see....
