But it's quite weird if it's her. Gischler hasn't used Psylocke in a single issue of his book yet (well, except for a one-panel cameo in Jubilee's birthday, with no lines and barely visible). I'd assume he would be the last writer of all X-writers to pick Betsy for his book (yes, even Peter David would more likely pick her for X-Factor than Gischler would).
As much as I'd love to see Psylocke in two books and playing for both sides, I was hoping the woman in Gischler's X-Men teaser was Dazzler, since the poor girl hasn't been featured anywhere else so far...
Gischler does like Psylocke's character. He has mentioned before that he likes her, but that she was unfortunately "busy elsewhere" at the time of launch of XMen vol. 3.
I'm really hoping that these teasers are only showing a select few members of each team and not the whole crew, cuz they are missing people like Dazzler and others.
@CmX - But do you believe him? Come on, she was "busy elsewhere"? Then how does he explain that freakin' Wolverine, Emma Frost and Cyclops were in ALL of his story arcs so far?? Or Gambit (who is heavily involved in X-Men: Legacy)?
If Gischler doesn't want her or is ambivalent, then let's be glad he hasn't had her. I'd rather a writer who appreciates Psylocke have her in their book versus someone who will turn her into a benchwarmer or be inconsistent with her panel-time and significance.
@Braxton Garris - According to the X-Men panel at Fan Expo in Canada, Marvel has defined the post-Schism side for about 110 mutants (and some non-mutants as well, as we know Deadpool, Danger and others are also involved in this). So we know Dazzler will have a side post-Schism, even if she's more a supporter than a defacto X-Man.
I hope she is part of one of the eight main X-teams, of course.
I have a feeling the other woman next to "possible Betsy" is Karma (check out the cybernetic leg)...which makes me think that the sword-y woman is Moonstar ala Valkyrie.
The woman next to Jubilee does look very much like Betsy but the purple glowing thingy doesn't look like her usual Katana and it's too big to be her psyknife, also the silouette on the X-force cover looks more like Betsy and Remender has confirmed she will be in X-force for a second year so unless she is playing double agent and is on both teams I'm still convinced she will be on Wolvies side.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

That just looks like Psylocke more and more in X-Men. A female with a purple glowy thing looking like a sword with a sash
I know JJ. And with our luck, they'll reveal that person dead last!

Things look different now. :)
Looks like Betsy will be the only character to appera in two different teasers. <3<3<3<3

I don't buy that...

FSaker, editors have way more control over what happens than writers do.
So yes I do believe him. I try thinking logically.

It is most likely Karma. Dani is probably the woman standing behind X-Man.
