This series started off strong, but I feel like I have lost interest in what was going on. How come Archangel is the only Horseman of Apocalypse that we care about? Is it because he was the first X-Man to turn blue? I mean, Wolverine doesn't seem to be dealing with this split-personality thing, and he has served as Death before. Cyclops doesn't go back and forth like this. Gambit has his Death moments, but we still haven't seen anything come of it.
Psylocke's got to be one of the most interesting characters (imo) from Marvel, I hate she's not mentioned or appears in any X-men movies or animations. Btw you have a great blog, are you interested in link exchanges? I have a couple of great sites. Let me know to my email here ^^
@ Lebeau2501 - Actually Cyclops was just possessed by Apocalypse, he was never a Horseman. But anyway, Remender already said that there is a reason why only Archangel seems to be affected by Apocalypse's influences; it seems Apocalypse did something to Warren that he didn't do to any of his other Horsemen.
About this cover, it looks wonderful! Deodato is probably the best artist at Marvel nowadays (and he is Brazilian!).
Funny that when I first saw the image, I thought the woman was X-23 because of the clawed arm next to her shoulder - only after viewing in better resolution I could see that it was Wolverine's arm behind Psylocke's shoulder...
@FSaker: LoL I thought the same in that it was X-23 at first glance.
Excellent variant from Mike Deodato Jr! He's been in the industry for a long time now and it pleases me beyond words that he has kept to his own high-standard of quality work that so many others seem to lose over the years.
Oh yeah. Now I see it. I guess when I look at an X-Force cover, I just am expecting Psylocke. Now I only see X-23. On the subject, can we get a better codename for Laura? X-23 is kind of refusing to let the past go. How about Badger? Or maybe Mongoose. Yeah. What about She-Wolverine. Hey, if it works for She-Hulk, it can work for She-Wolverine.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.
