Ugh TH really about to ruin Lizzie Braddock. She probably hated all the love that version of Betsy received from the readers.
Lol right. Probably not TH herself, but we all know which close associate of hers hated the praise Lizzie got. Lizzie about to have her ass handed to her and proclaim Betsy 616 as the bestest Betsy ever.
TH gonna make Lizzie break down and cry or something because that's more interesting that characters being cool and fun to read.
@Kevin, wait. Connor has a problem with Lizzie variant? Like he’s actually commented on her in his podcast or on his discord channel? If so, I’m curious what his issue is with her. Especially, since he enjoys all these sophomoric variants Tini created.

This could also be a move on Marvels part to get Captain Carter and Lizzie Braddock into 616.
Honestly, TH has made such a mess of Betsy, Lizzie Braddock may be the way out of all of it. Betsy fades into some otherworld hole, which would be so sad as all her history would go with her and Lizzie takes over as the dominant Elizabeth Braddock on 616. And then another writer takes over, hopefully. I dont know if I would be so sad about that kind of scenario, I always thought that Betsy is more interesting as a covert op using her wits and hand to hand combat skills more than her powers. Instead of this armored version of Betsy that honestly, between her mutant powers and her suit should be invulnerable but reduced to pink hand blast bolts that dont work. and the fact the Rachel explicitly states that Lizzie is a telekinetic vs telepathic seems like kind of a setup for this kind of scenario, it would also mean bye bye butterfly I guess, but who knows.
Or Howard makes Lizzie get into a Triad relationship with Rachel and Betsy in another five issues
I refuse to buy any issues of this, so I have a question. Is Elizabeth not telekinetic in this latest installment? I see in the panel above that Rachel says Lizzie is telekinetic instead of telepathic as opposed to saying Lizzie is only telekinetic instead of both telekinetic and telepathic. Or was that just a grammar thing? I can’t really tell if Bets has telekinesis in the panels I have seen. When she and the other Captain Britains shoot beams from their hands, the Fury refers to it as psionic energy which seems really basic and generic. I’m assuming it is telekinetic as they are shooting a machine, but who knows with the these writers and editors?
I am not purchasing any issues as well @Rahsaan, but I have to assume she is both. She definitely has that TK shield that she uses constantly.
I think it just means that other version is solely telekinetic vs our Betsy who was only telepathic for a good period (and not telekinetic till she & Jean swapped powers).
That was my take at least.
