Thanks to our friends at the CBR forums for pointing out the character behind Betsy is actually Captain Carter holding her shield. Will Captain Carter join the Captain Britain Corps? Is this Captain Carter the same as Agent Lizzie Braddock's partner?

Seems as if a butterfly effect is shyly trying to manifest around Betsy's face. The same embargo on creatives like before not be allowed to give back things to their rightful owners.
One major complaint I have about the Krakoan era, is I feel like nearly
everyone involved, from Hickman, down to Tini Howard(the greatest to the least) have not done their best work. Many of the creators, from the artists, to the writers have produced other tight works for other properties, but when it comes to the X-Men, they have just been hiring any old body regardless of talent or credentials, to producing any old garbage for X-Men fans.
Example, Gerry Duggan...whose Conan and Savage Avengers books were terrific, but somehow when he got to mutants and the X-Men, his work is just mediocre in every way.
Jonathan Hickman himself always produced pretty solid work, but then he waited until he got to mutants to abandon ship and let the rest of the horrible writers and editor Jordan White just take an absolute dump on the X-Men and mutant titles. Like the X-Men brand was just a side gig for many of them while they worked on their own creator owned stuff or getting a job in hollywood.
HOX/POX was a masterpiece for sure, but I feel like after that, we just have been getting a steady stream of crap. Even in terms of some of the the artwork, which brings me to Erica D'urso's work on Betsy.
I have seen Erica's other art, and it's beautiful, but I feel like she just makes the ugliest version of Betsy. The first cover has Betsy with a giant chin and head. And now this next teaser sample botches Betsy's butterfly, but also her face looks like an animal or beast person. What is this?!
I am really disappointed with the state of the X-Men comics these days. Sorry for the rant.
LOL, so when people talked up Betsy's chances of interacting with the broader Marvel Universe, they just meant Captain Carter? Thrilling!
Howard is obsessed with muscular women so I'm not surprised thats Betsy's first stop
