As we all know, Tini Howard will unfortunately write a new book featuring Captain Britain, which will probably be announced in the coming days. In the meantime, Knights of X became the lowest-selling X-book in July (with the exception of the X-Cellent, which has the benefit of being a niche title). Knights of X #4 barely held onto the Top 80 at #79 in the Sales Ranking. According to Comic Book Revolution: "I have no idea why Marvel Comics thought rolling out the exact same title with the same writer but under a new name would actually trick readers into thinking this was worth reading."

Burn it to the ground. Captain Betsy doesn't sell. Betsy was fine being Psylocke and you broke her. Shame on you.

Really? Wow... I guess the next book will be Howard's final chance in the X-line.
It's awful that maybe we won't be seeing Betsy again until next year, so I hope the next book will be worth the wait. But it probably won't.

True. And the sad thing is, at this point, she can't go back to being Psylocke; the overall readers have already accepted Kwannon as Psylocke. That makes it all the more urgent to make whatever new identity she gets (be it Captain Britain, Agent Braddock or whatever) work.
Hopefully, this will teach them a lesson.
Why on earth couldn't Betsy keep her code name Psylocke? By the way, Kwannon is mostly referred to as Kwannon in the books. Nobody really uses Psylocke. This makes the name change even more unnecessary.
@Mixia, true. Sadly, I think it's more likely that Marvel renames Betsy as Revanche instead of giving her the Psylocke codename back.
I actually like Kwannon being Revanche. All this just been confusing people a lot since Betsy became Captain Britain and her brother becoming Captain Avalon. Either give Betsy back as Psylocke, putting Brian back as Captain Britain. Just give Betsy a proper writer other then Tini!!
To put things in place Bets is Psylocke, Brian is Capt Britain and "Revanche" is Revanche.
Betsy stops paying for the Monica the Nicieza done for not studying before his test. Betsy got a history as Psylocke and Revanche got a criminal record of thieving Betsy's all.
Stop trying to make Betsy Captain Britain happen, it's not gonna happen.
But for real though, no one wants it. It's not working and I've not heard any arguments to keep torturing us with Tini Howard's pen. The characterization is not there, the dialogue is hollow and laborious, Otherworld and this D&D-esque world are not interesting (especially compared to Krakoa), and I could go on and on and on but I don't feel like wasting energy thinking about how much I dislike Tini Howard's writing because it would be enough energy to power a dead sun. Oh and remember Gambit's dead? Tini Howard doesn't lol
But anyway. Let's retire the Jim Lee costume, it has seen it's glory days. Call Kwannon Kwannon and Betsy Psylocke. That is so obvious and easy. It's what most of the fans call them anyway. And give Betsy a restraining order against Tini Howard
Anyway, we know now that this teaser is for a crossover event titled Sins of Sinister - so it's pretty safe to assume Mister Sinister will be at the center of it.
Question is: will Betsy actually appear in it? Due to her involvement in the Otherworld affairs, she's been out of this year's Hellfire Gala, and she hasn't appeared in A.X.E. Judgment Day so far (ironically, Gambit was at the Gala and Rachel appeared in A.X.E., though the latter may have been just a mistake from the artist, like when Dazzler and Jubilee appeared in AvX despite one of them being in another dimension and the other having left Utopia to live with vampires at that time). Then again, if she were to just cameo in one panel or two, I guess it doesn't make much of a difference to be in the crossover or not.
You know damn well Betsy won't appear or be important in Sins of Sinister. No other writer wants to touch her and I'm sure Tini Howard will come up with a plot to keep Betsy exclusively to herself, like her new book being about Betsy fixing broken timelines a la the Exiles. Sigh.
Betsy will likely never appear in another X-Men event while Tini Howard has control of the character.
Jordan White allows Tini to do whatever she wanted with the characters, and had them trapped on Otherworld so that Tini wouldn't have to worry about remembering continuity or anything happening in the actual important mutant comics.
I really am not looking forward to her bad fanfic that will further ruin Betsy and Rachel.
