Nice to see Betsy's time leading the X-Men being acknowledged! And it's also nice to see her little conversation with Jubilee; now I hope she'll keep her promise to keep Shogo safe.

As for Betsy's trust on Mordred... well... he seems to be a valuable ally for now, but she seems too confident about his loyalty. And when it comes to Otherworld people (especially ones that are part of the Arthurian legends), she should be careful; ANY of them can stab her in the back when she least expects.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the giant psychic butterfly signature, which looks amazing! Really, what took Marvel so long to give it back to Betsy?

@FSaker I honestly think that is the result of the backlash Betsy fans made about it and how vocal her fanbase was. I think they honestly were giving it to Kwannon and intending to never have Betsy use it again (and also underestimated how popular Betsy is) Especially based on the editor's comments at the time about how she was evolving beyond it etc etc. I think they honestly thought most saw "Psylocke" as a body and not that people were fans of Betsy no matter her appearance. I think they essentially were forced to give the butterfly back lol.

I didn't expect it be good. I'm excited for the first time to read the dialogue. Put in the positives Betsy and Sinister butting heads for the backstory they have together.

@FSaker There is no point to waste the butterfly on Kwannon. Marvel made her a bad copy of Betsy. After the butterfly she takes the TK of Betsy. I'm done with her dumpster fire character.

@Tobias I'm the one who actually mentioned Kwannon lol. I agree somewhat, I did love her as Revanche and I did like how Tini resolved the body issue. It wasn't easy given what the Fallen Angels writer wrote. I'm ok with Kwannon having TK since they never explained how Betsy had it after Jean regained it. My preference would be Betsy as telepathic/precog & Kwannon could be a telekinetic/Empath. In any case I'm glad Betsy has at least gotten her psi signature back. I honestly think that is because of Betsy fans being so vocal.

@X-Man Sorry I read comments as one with replies. Makes me sick Betsy is copied by Kwannon in full display. The X-Men have many psychics and Kwannon can be different but Marvel got stuck in the 90s with 90s Adventures and 90s Krakoa for comics and animation. The same old thing over and over.

I definitely would have wished they embraced Kwannon's individuality and used her empathic abilities instead of suddenly making her a psychic of note (especially since they actually used an empathic character creatively on her last team, smh lol), but I'll just be happy that Betsy has the butterfly back. I'd love if she got Psylocke back too lol.

I totally agree, I don't mind seeing Kwannon as a empath/telekinesis type and if Betsy got tired or exalted being Captain Britain she can go back being Psylocke and Kwannon can either keep that as her codename or find a band new name. I fully support both of them, I had an ideal for Kwannon and Bishop having a tough conversation about her being Psylocke and knowing lately its not her no more and completely get ride of the attire she been wearing to find a new purpose in life knowing the suit was sooo closely to Betsy, she still better keep that katana though. I'm also glad Betsy getting her butterfly back.

Guys they had a chance with Revanche and wasted it. Reva is forever gonna be the Psyclone of Betsy flashing her muff and wear the Jim Glee thong. She gonna copy Betsy in everything period.

Why so much hatred towards Kwannon? Put her with a better writer to find her own identity. Like I said, when Betsy decided to not be Captain Britain, she can always go back being Psylocke.

It has to do with the fact that Marvel handed her Betsys identity (no don't say it was Kwannons first because we are talking about real behind the scenes ideas and motives not continuity) and it naturally rubbed many fans the wrong way added with Bryan Hill dumping on Betsy to justify Kwannon as Psylocke. You're right better writers can come along she was good in Hellions but people would rather see a more organic approach where she didn't completely adopt the Psylocke persona and visual.

I agree. As it is, the current Kwannon feels like a sad attempt to keep the "Asian Betsy" brand alive. From her powers, to codename, to costume, even her personality. She's not nothing original going on. It's like no one put any effort to make her her own character instead of Betsy 2.0.

Cause Revanche was more original to the stalking wannabe she at the moment. She exists for the horny folks and Marvel to cash in the dirty buck.

@Renegade X I believe Psylocke fans hate Kwannon on the grounds she has taken all the Betsy feats and powers for herself. The butterfly, T. K. constructs, telepathy, recently telekinesis and astral projection are Betsy related that Kwannon took little by little to avenge herself for the body swap story.

From the costume to the disposition she is not an original creation rather a Betsy version of the Jim Lee design as randybear, Kiki M. Ishola pointed with Uknown.

The only Betsy power which Kwannon has yet to claim is Betsy's precognition/clairvoyance.
