Good to know that at least someone is mourning over Betsy. Sad to know that apparently only the Excalibur roster cared about her, as from what I know, her (assumed) death was ignored in every other X-book, even though most of these books feature at least one close friend of hers.
Odd Storm and Wolverine took the "death" of Betsy easy. Rogue and Gambit are less ungrateful. Rogue was treated by Betsy in psychic sessions to control the Carol self and Gambit is thankful Betsy never outed him as Mr. Sinister hitman.
Not sure they did take it easy just no time was given to show it. Glad Rogue is shown as being affected. Some of Betsy’s female relationships are all too often neglected e.g. Dazzler, Meggan, Laura,
Marcus To draws me back to Excalibur. The art he makes is beautiful and human. The story is for long talk. I'm confused every issue is different with little in common with the next. If a book was for director's cut nomination the new Excalibur wins it. Details and stories stop and remain untold.
@Kiki M. Ishola it's writers failure that no one dealt with Betsy knew Gambit from scanning Sabretooth in the mutant massacre. Betsy sees faces and actions by reading the mind. She always knew. Like she knew Sinister targeted the Braddocks for the Hellfire Club.
Storm and Wolverine aren't ungrateful they love Betsy. Saturnyne did magic on them to feel nothing about Betsy crack.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Rogue and Remy's house on the shore remind me of the house they had in California towards the end of CC's Xtreme XMen.
And their home in X-Men the End
In Valle Soleada. The references make it familiar. Betsy quoted herself from the Uncanny X-Men #213 after Sabretooth made her nearly bacon strips.
