Betsy by R.B. Silva is amazing. It's only concept art and looks polished with detail. The Captain Britain costume is flexible with armor bits and I love it more than its clunky designs.
At least we get the closest art style for Captain Betsy that resembles Pepe Larraz.
Still not over the fact that Betsy was not involved in the HOX and POX series.
It's interesting how the flowers in her hair fit with this uniform. Usually this could be too girly or cheesy, but with Betsy's new uniform the flowers actually give her a majestic look.
By the way, I know they are supposed to appear only on one side of her head (with her hair kinda braided on the other side), but to be honest, I don't mind any of the arts where she appears wearing them on both sides; to me, she looks great both ways. That's just my opinion, though; feel free to disagree.
FSaker yeah the flowers on both sides are growing on me. I just didnt like hoe they looked on Excalibur #1 cover they looked like giant pieces of popcorn to me lol also didnt like them on the Bagley or Adams covers but the rest are tolerable.
Plus To confirmed on Twitter it was his bad for not drawing multiple angles in the design sketch and that he will probably start drawing the flowers on both sides on panel going forward.
Flowers are considered weak and girly yeah, wrong to separate nature from life, power and evolution. Flowers are that exactly and butterflies like to hang around them so Betsy has high chances to keep her psychic butterfly too.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

This actually resembles Betsy. It's gorgeous
Beautiful piece of art.
Finally a version of a revamped Captain Britain with which I can get onboard

(and Hickman, put her in PoX #6 already, dammit!)

I hope they change their mind about the flowers on both sides. Not a fan

Love the flowers on both sides. Silva's art is fantastic. He's drawn the best version of Betsy and this is just a sketch!
Dope art!
