That UXF cover is just amazing! I dislike the fact that her katana is kinda huge but I just love this new team a lot!!!! I really can't wait! Why is January so far away??
On the other hand, weren't they ending things with issue #40 ? The cover looks wired ,not liking the art a lot. Will x-men continue in marvel now?
One thing I am really confused about is that x-men seems like it's on another universe, they haven't talked about anything that happened before ,during and after AvX. And colossus was normal while he was supposed to be Phoenix powered. Is it in a another universe or does it happen in a different time ,like before AvX ?
Whatever ,I'm still wondering about how Sam will be writing psylocke. Will he make her mid lvl TP & mid lvl TK or will he make her full omega TP? I wish he sticks to remender's version wich he probably will. Anyway I'm okay with her as long as she is psychic, with katanas and showing how a badass ninja she is.
AMAZING cover for UXF!! I hope future artists don't think the light color on her outfit is just "showing skin" & color it as so. Amazing with Storm in the Sky, Psylocke , in front, etc etc. Amazing
Very 90s throwback (for the most part) on the Xmen #41.
Very nice cover indeed!!
I like when they show her a bit more asian. Alan Davis' rendition of Psylocke was the best for me because of that (remembering her return on Uncanny #455).
The X-Men issue probably tie in to the formation of Uncanny X-force...
We need to write to Humphries to make Psylocke just a telepathic ninja again
Humphries already told someone on twitter that his Betsy won't use TK.
He did? That's amazing! It would be even more amazing if they'd announce that she no longer have that power and all other writers agrees to it. Because it's kinda stupid having it and not using it. Will psylock be in any other book as a major or even minor character?
Great covers indeed, both of them! Havok, Polaris and Rachel were unfortunately forgotten in the X-Men vol.3 cover... and it's kinda weird that Xorn was included. But the important thing is: the most important X-Woman ever (a.k.a. PSYLOCKE) is in it, so yay! (and bonus points for Hope, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Longshot and Dazzler)
About marvel_Boy96's questions, well, let's see:
- X-Men vol.3 was always meant to be loose in terms of continuity, so as to be an accessible entry point for new readers, so I guess that's why AvX wasn't mentioned in it. In any case, it's likely that its more recent story arcs take place before AvX.
- About Psylocke's powers, I prefer her with just telepathy, and it seems that every writer will show her just as a telepath anyway. But someone should address on panel that she lost the TK powers, because so far it seems that she just doesn't use them because she doesn't want to.
- So far, Psylocke is only announced as part of Uncanny X-Force. But it's possible (and even likely) that at some point she will show up in Bendis's All-New X-Men, even if not as part of the cast. And Humphries and Hopeless already said that UXF will have interactions with "Cable and X-Force", so she'll probably make some appearances there as well.
Thx FSaker for answering. I just asked Sam humphries on twitter about psylocke powers, he told me "no TK for psylocke in this series, she have been like this for some time, not sure how she lost it. Could be wrong" so she is just a telepath. Really Happy, I prefer her with TP. But bad he won't say she lost it. Because it's really stupid having it and not using it, just get rid of it. Nobody wants it anymore.
