I know they want to draw dramatic poses but is it necessary for Psylocke to be closing her eyes & putting all her focus into sending a dang telepathic message - something that's so natural & easy for her? Drama's sake, I get it. Just silly though. At least it's not Land - she'd be screaming in ecstasy. haha I haven't been reading this but reminds me of Xtreme Xmen (Storm's team a decade ago). Betsy died in an early issue of this series. I only read UXF but cool to see these scans & how Betsy turns out in other series.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Love that butterfly effect and this art! Reminds me a little of Frank Quitely, but smoother-looking with the people looking a bit more differentiated.
It's what I love about Lopez's art... Everyone is an individual, not copies of each other... Solid 1st issue for Wood!!!
