I had asummed that they are the same as Brian's I'm sure we saw her flying whilst carrying Fantomex and the fact she can lift him and rip open the the capsule he was put in seems to suggest she has superstrength too. She also seems to have retained her Telepathy.
Ah cool. Thanks for clearing that up. I just remember there being some sort of choice when a person is admitted to the corps. you get powers like Brian or powers like the female corp memeber who was an Avenger up until the Scarlet Witch lost here mind. So then the riding of the dragon is a plot point or for dramatic affect im guessing since she can fly.
Yes, this storyline was supposed ro be Remender and the artists excuse to do some cool fantasy type stuff with a storyline... so I think the Dragon is possibly the first of a lot of fantasy-esq stuff to be seen in the Otherworld arc. I think its awesome... I couldn't be happier with this storyline! :D
@MellyMel I didn't realise they got a choice. I seem to remember something about the power being in the suit because last time she was Captain Britain she had a suit made out of the one that belonged to the Alternate Captain Britain that she killed, and she had his power of flight and super strength.
@Miss_Braddock: just looked it up! The female Captain Britian was called Lionheart and she was given a choice between the Sword of Might and the Amulet of Right (corny). And she chose the sword which was seen as the path to violence. She had super strength and carried a sword, but did not fly. So if Brian and Betsy were given a choice as well im thinking they chose the amulet.
Oh Yes I remember Brian also got that choice between the sword and the amulet in the 1st issue of Captain Britain. And I think he did choose the amulet! I'll go have a look!
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.
