This cover is gorgeous! In fact, most of the variant covers for this book look great (and the official ones look quite good, too).
But... behind Betsy, is that... Shogo?
Really, making a baby become a dragon was cute the first time, but by Knights of X it had already become boring (and even though A.X.E.'s ending means that now Shogo could be resurrected if he ever died, it's still extremely irresponsible to bring a baby to the battlefield, even if said baby has the body of a huge dragon). Plus, shouldn't he be with Jubilee (you know, his MOTHER) rather than with Betsy and Rachel?
In case that's just a random dragon instead of Shogo, I apologize.
@Rahsaan, Yeah, I often complain about the same things here...
Oh, that reminds me that, while I stopped reading X-books (and comic books in general) several months ago, I did find out that one of my complaints was unjustified: the Resurrection Protocols have always bothered me because I understood that it could be seen as Krakoa just creating mutant clones mentally led to believe that they were the same people who they were cloned from... but apparently there's a comic book or two where Death (...well, Marvel's Death) mentions that whenever the Protocols are conducted by Hope's team, the souls of the deceased mutants are really pulled from the afterlife and inhabit the new body - so yeah, whoever died and was brought back by the Protocols are really the same people they were before dying, and I was bothered about nothing.
That makes me happy, anyway, because it means that the Scott, Jean, Logan and whoever else has died and been brought back in the Dawn of X era are still the same people I like. It still doesn't motivate me to return to reading the X-books, though, at least for now (but while I'm aware of everyone's complaints about the way Betsy is being written, I do wonder if at least Kwannon is being well-written - I did like her in the Hellions issues I read).
@FSaker, I guess you haven’t gotten to the Laura Kinney story yet that. And I’m wondering how the writers will explain that based on this Death confirmation you just mentioned that I was unaware of.
