I Like the 2nd one, but not a fan of "Buff" Betsy (and I hope that's not some stereotypical way to present that she's a strong woman to us). She's more built than Brian lol. To be clear I have nothing against women with that build, I just think that doesn't really represent Betsy accurately.

I'm curious to see how they'll remake Betsy if Isca kills her. This would be Howard's chance to turn her into a buff woman.

If that happens im out lol im sure many here will be happy if I stop posting 😅

It's the armor that makes her look buffed

I want her to double wield the starlight sword and her own psychic sword at the same time.

I really hope she doesn't die, the haven't done any really interesting with her character since she became Captain Britain, she deserves more. They're apparently killing Kwannon too in Hellions... So if they both die, we get neither version of the character.

I like the design of the starlight sword I just wish it was pink. It looks too similar to the starbrand sword

I guess they chose to not make it pink to differentiate it from her psychic constructs... That being said, a light blue or a white would've looked better in my opinion

Oh I know it's the armor, it just seems off to me visually for Betsy (I liked her Outback armor though). I'm just used to Betsy having an athletic muscle build (like a runner/swimmer I guess) vs a bodybuilder athleticism look lol. I know it doesn't look that way currently in the books, but I know Tini really wanted it. I'm hoping Betts isn't slowly inching that way lol.

I am not that fond of a buff version either. Psylocke has proven enough to be strong and courageous without that. Double wielding her swords would be a nice touch indeed!!

I'm a Debbie Downer but I think they won't kill Betsy so early. MIA maybe not killed dead dead. I hope if they do they won't resurrect her into a She-Hulk.

And people stop feeding them cruel ideas cause it's butter on their bread. I got the hunch they don't like Betsy.

@Kiki I don't know, I think they actually do like Betsy ironically lol. They have her on a lot of covers, and she's leading her own team. They also seem to love Tini so much that she is like 2nd in command with this huge event it seems lol. I just think the current people don't know who Betsy really is. When Tini said she was entitled and a fairy Princess, it made me a little nervous. Betsy has endured way to much to not have changed since being the character with that poofy pink outfit from way back when (she was already darker in the Outback phase). I'm just scared they don't want to address her suffering, because then it dims the "Kwannon has suffered so much" narrative. I'm hoping for the best :)

Also when has Betsy ever been entitled? She was always down to earth she was always more interested in adventure and fighting the good fight. She never relished in her families wealth or flaunted it like oh i dunno.. Emma Frost.

Betsy broke away from her family and estate to join the x-men and sacrificed herself on more than one occasion for the better good. Im so tired of the writers treating her like she needs a wake up call or to pay for whatever they think she's done wrong.

Exactly @Randybear.

Phyla Vell has quantum sword similar to starlight. More alarms ring that they try to make Betsy the second Captain Marvel. Phyla has a better costume than Captain Betsy.

About "buff Betsy", it seems to depend on whoever is drawing her in her Captain Britain suit, right? I was just looking again at that art from the X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover, and she looks FANTASTIC (no pun intended) on it! If she looked like THAT all the time, I'd be more than pleased.
