Storm is a goddess!
A hair be touched of Storm and Betsy hell gates open.
Oh, so T'Challa's mother and sister are still on good terms with Ororo despite their less-than-friendly divorce in AvX. That's great!
Ororo looks great, and coloring her usual X-uniform white rather than black is a nice nod to the 1990s FOX animated series (I could say the nod is to the Jim Lee uniform, but I read somewhere that while it looked white most of the time, it was supposed to be black and only appeared white because it was shiny, like leather).
Anyway, I suppose Betsy won't appear in this issue either... will it take until the first Excalibur issue for her to show up in XoS?
*Regarding my previous comment, yes, I know that there will be two other chapters before this one with Storm, but they seem to be focused on other X-Men getting their swords; that's why I'm wondering if Betsy will be absent throughout all these first chapters...
In HOX and POX Betsy was gone. Betsy had reasons to be in HOX and POX I don't have the details she did though for loose ends from previous works. Sometimes I think it's because Betsy joined the party in the mid 80s. Kitty, Rogue and Dazzler weren't there too. XOS is different it happens in Otherworld Betsy's turf.
@Kiki M. Ishola, Dazzler was shown in HOX and POX. It was a brief appearance, but she was shown performing at a concert in Krakoa. And surprisingly even Jubilee appeared watching said concert, if I'm not mistaken.
Love Storm ! She would be a better partner for Betsy than any man she had! Both women havev really bad taste in men. They are too great for them!
