Charles Soule set a story in motion for Elizabeth Braddock a.k.a. Psylocke. She was the only X-Man aware of Professor Xavier's return via Fantomex. Xavier announced himself to the founding X-Men during dinner in the astonishing x-men annual but wiped the memory of him.
Hickman had an opportunity to open the House of X with Elizabeth presenting Xavier to the X-Men. That was it. Quick and sweet but no Elizabeth isn't important enough to appear on that event.
Instead of Cyclops advocating for the release of Sabretooth from the Fantastic Four, Elizabeth being the one would be tons better and interesting due to the bad blood between her and Sabretooth.
With the butterfly gone and the name of Psylocke too I won't be surprised if we get disappointed somehow. Art looks good but hopefully not just the art will be good... Honestly I'm not looking forward to this
I can't find any information about who updates this blog so I'll post my question here: are we getting updates about Betsy and Kwannon or just Betsy? I would like to follow both characters, but it's your blog and I can totally understand why'd you only want to follow one.
I noticed in the dream panel where her costume is "complete/fully powered/whatever" her belt transforms and looks a lot like the sash she wore when she was in the Asian body. I like that little touch.
A Cu-Sith or Cu-Sidhe is a 'faerie' or 'fey' 'wolf' or 'hound, depending on the way one interprets it. They are very much creatures of the Otherworld and Celtic legend. A little more info at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%B9-s%C3%ACth ! Cheers!
@Kay Theria always a joy to see comic fans familiar with the lore and mythology behind fan fiction.
Cu-Sidhe is the Scottish name of the faerie dog and Cŵn Annwn is the Welsh equivalent. I'm intrigued to see if Marcus To paints the Cu-Sith green or grey whitish. If it is such a creature.
On the other hand I'm alarmed because Cu-Sidhe are Grim Reapers.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

The art in this book is GORGEOUS. Can't wait to see it colored.
A fox ? Really ? It should be a butterfly !

@Psi Girl, true. I don’t mind though. The Lady Mandarin armor was just as bulky with its should padding, cape, and hammerhead mask/helmet.
*shoulder pad
Haha you're right about that. I'd love to see a variant cover with CB and Kwannon in the Lady Mandarin armor.
Betsy's not so unfamiliar with wearing armor so I'm rationalizing this new design bit by bit.
Evidently Betsy's Captain Britain armor is magical and she controls how powerful and bulky it is or which parts of it she summons.
Is that Cu-Sith carrying the Excalibur? Interesting.
Correction the butterfly isn't gone it still belongs to Betsy. One way or another it will fly back to its true owner.
What the heck is Cu-Sith? The only ones I know are from Star Wars which is cancelled by Marvel.

Awesome preview! Can't wait!
I wonder if Betsy will be getting her precognitive powers back 🤔
