...I suspect many people here will complain about Psylocke being in the Hand uniform and thus looking Asian (though from this video I couldn't really tell how her face looks). And that's fair; I also would much prefer her current uniform or the uniform she was wearing before the recent body swap.
That said, I think we should realize that unlike the MMORPG games, Ultimate Alliance 3 will probably have a limited number of characters (just notice how the portrait in Mansion X only has seven X-Men, indicating that popular characters like Jean, Iceman, Rogue, Gambit and others probably won't even be playable), so the fact that she was chosen to be in this game makes me very, very happy. The fact that she seems to have a British accent is even better.
As for her body, assuming her features won't be clear like her render from Marvel Strike Force, I suggest each of us assume she's in the body we prefer; if you like her in the Asian body, assume she's Asian; if you like her in the caucasian body, same thing. May not be the best solution, but eh, it's what we can do.
Fskaker she doesnt look Asian in her features at all but it's the hand outfit but her VA sounds very English. The only way itll be confirmed which body is by how the detail if her in game profile is presented. Itll most likely he the usual "British woman in a ninja body" description. But they should just be vague and not confirm either way just so everyone is pleased.
With that said I've been hyped since this game was announced and was not expecting much XMen in the game much less Psylocke so I'm very pleased! I'm happy shes not DLC this time so we can see her in some cutscenes.
Ugh. Every game on Nintendo Switch looks unappealing, and sadly this is no exception...
I like her hair and outfit. Here's something we need to pay attention to and that's that X-Men are back in a Marvel game. Remember the huge panic when they were not featured in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite ? and I ain't surprised of the outfit tbh. I prefer Betsy before switching back to her original body (Just I prefer her and she's to her like this). Even for this game isn't gonna be extreme or something but it's again putting X-Men back on the map. Psylocke and other X-Men were slowly being added to Marvel games for the past 3 years. Like Future Fight, COC and now Strike Force and this one. Details about characters and which version can be updated in the future. I honestly hope just like that Avengers secret game being done by SquareEnix that we get an X-Men game. Full X-Men just like we had in X-Men legends. Many tiers, outfits and team works
Although I personally prefer Betsy in her Asian version,I was expecting her to appear in her new body. And I kinda wanted her to. So I have mixed feelings about her being in Kwannon's body in yet another game.
Can't decide what is worse the Yellowface and Asian appropriation garb and theme dressing a Briton or the Caucasian looking reported Asian. A royal ninpo mess.
I'm just so happy she is back in the game. I can't wait to play with her again.
