I am so glad to see Glob Herman develop in terms of strength, abilities and hopefully more in character... Hisako seems to be growing to be a leader among the X-Men she's destined to become... 😊
Oh wow, so they actually spent MONTHS in the AoA reality? Glob Herman and Anole will soon become older than the O5 X-Men considering how often they spend years in alternate dimensions before returning to the prime universe... (nice to see Herman wearing pants for once, by the way)
And... wasn't Nate doing all he did because he was DYING? Yet he spent months in this reality and is still alive?
So many questions. I hope the issue will answer some of them.
1. Explosive conclusion? For real???
2. I have always been extremely fond of Hisako. I love that she is being written for. She has the potential to be a strong character in the right hands.
3. X-Man dying... Again? I thought we'd solve this when he returned after dissapating in his own series and the came back to life at a reduced power level. Marvel, here's an idea... Let him die permanently. The Age of Apocalypse is done. Stop dragging it and its denizens out. Give us some new stories. Also, with Kid Cable, both old, dead Cable and X-Man should be given the peace in death they have earned. These alternate timeline storylines and alternate versions of characters are all played out. I really belive that everyone who participates in these discussions here would actually do fans better service than the actual writers. At least, we have original ideas when we debate with one another here.

Hisako grew on me when she was no longer written by Whedon. It would be nice to have an Asian team leader. Jubilee led Gen X but since then has been mostly reduced to background so it's nice to see them doing something with an Asian character.
I could've sworn AoA was wiped out wen AoA Jean became some mix of Phoenix & Apocalypse. Marvel keeps revisiting it cause $$$. I agree Nate needs to go.
I won't be surprised if the alternate reality that comes from Age of X-Man becomes an alternate universe that Marvel revisits to milk every couple of years. Or at least pulls characters from like Magistrate Braddock & Old Logan.

I'm not all the impressed with Joss Whedon. Everything he does feels like a recast Buffy project. All his characters speak as if they are on a Buffy episode. DOn't get me wrong. I love Buffy, but I feel that Joss is not diverse in his writing style.
Hisako is dope. And I would love for a character substance to represent Asian diversity. Several characters. Unlike the Big K who people here are rooting for. Yes. I had to slip that in just to mess with my blog rivals regarding that ninja woman. LOL.
I guess this issue is going to focus on the x-kids... Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Agreed. Nice choice of existing Asian characters with solid, relatable back stories unlike Kwannon who was just a sexy assassin and Matsup plaything lmao
