Spoilers: In London, Psylocke maintains the psychic link that allows the X-Men to remain in the Astral Plane, while Angel and Bishop stand guard. They notice that Beast was really Mystique all along, but are soon interrupted by the British military who demands their surrender. Warren tries to explain everything to the authorities but is subdued instead. He controls his anger as not to become Archangel and manages to justify the X-Men’s actions in London.
Meanwhile, in the Astral Plane, Logan finds himself alone after walking through one of the doors. Much to the Shadow King’s dismay, Wolverine understands the Astral Plane and decides to ignore every obstacle Farouk has put in his way. Xavier creates an illusion to fool the Shadow King, and decides to have a private talk with Logan. While Wolverine doesn’t trust him to be real, Xavier tells him the X-Men’s plans won’t work. Xavier battles Logan and contains him, saying he has many uses. The Shadow King is convinced Logan fell for his traps and declares himself the winner of this round, oblivious to the fact Xavier has hidden Logan.
Back in London, Superintendent Blake with the Ministry of Defense reaches the X-Men and demands an explanation from Psylocke, but he is soon killed by Wolverine who has woken up in the real world possessed by The Shadow King.
