Spoilers: While Deadpool and Wolverine are fighting the Goat; Meggan, Brian, Kurt and the Captain Britain Corps try to prevent the enemy army from getting near the tower. Elsewhere, Betsy uses Krokwell’s poison to get rid of the Skinless Man, freeing Fantomex. The Skinless Man flees, while Betsy learns the rest of X-Force are in danger in Otherworld. The Goat’s army succeeds and breaks into the Omniverse Tower, and he’s about to spread his will across the all, into every mind. Betsy and Fantomex reach the Goat’s tower and distract him by posing as Merlyn and Roma via Fantomex’s misdirection power. The Goat breaks the misdirection, but it gives Betsy enough time to look into his mind and learn who he truly is. The Goat heads to the Omniverse Tower where he takes everyone out, except for Jamie, telling him he would like to see what happens next. The Goat becomes the Omnigod, spreading his essence across the universe. Betsy contacts Brian via telepathy and tells him that the Goat is Jamie from the future who made a deal with the Goat of self-propagation, in order to seek cosmic omnipresence and enlightment, but in the process the Goat ended up inhabiting Jamie’s body. Betsy tells him the only way to stop the destruction of everything is by killing Jamie. Brian refuses to do it, so Betsy takes over Brian’s body and snaps Jamie’s neck, ending it all. Betsy tells Brian he made her do it so he gets to stay the good guy.

Picked this up before school and the ending left me in a wow all day. Best issue of the arc imo. I had a feeling Jamie was actually the goat or just somehow behind the whole thing. I just found suddenly benevolent Jamie, even if by mystical means, too much to wrap my head around.
Great issue, the art seriously needed to be more detailed to really get a better sense of the urgency of everything that occurred. I did like seeing Psylocke finally interact with her brothers though.
Astonishing and surprising!!
Betsy goes deeper and deeper, whoa!! Totally not an easy choice...
Isn't Brian supposed to be immune to Betsy's powers because they're siblings? (ala Scott and Havoc)
Great ending twist, tho.
Toffnut,
Yes. It's canon that he is! That's a no-prize. As much as I love Remender, shame on him for that and for not directly addressing whether or not Betsy accepted Jamie's offer after bringing up her proper body again! (God knows you can't tell from the art which she chose as she never looks Asian.)
I hate fake-outs. And never though rick would do that to us. LOL.
And the immunity... that surprised me too, because Rick Remender is usually spot-on in keeping with continuity.
Maybe Betsy's recent telepathic boost allowed her to do it?
Maybe Brian can "allow" her tp to work on him? If he was 100% immune then she wouldn't even be able to talk to him via tp...
Wow ..thats all I could say after reading this..i totally feel for betsy though ..within maybe the last two weeks she has lost two people who are important her in which she was the one who killed them..thats tough.
Psylocke has used her powers on Jamie on multiple occasions (and vice-versa). So continuity with the sibling thing must not apply to the Braddocks or something. 0_o

I always thought immune meant that she couldn't psyblade Brian. They've always had a bond and could communicate, I don't see how taking control of his body would be that much of a stretch.
And I think she is still in the Asian body. I've got that from Tocchini's work all along, look how he draws her eyes.
It could also be that Brian let her because he didn't want to kill Jamie himself.
+Enhanced telepathy. =x
