I don't get why War Machine thinks he should immediately attack the X-Men. He could try to talk and dissuade them from their mission (it wouldn't work, but at least it would show that he tried to avoid the fight). And I hope the real main cast of this book gets a good amount of panel time, unlike these first pages without any of them.
BTW, Psylocke also appears in the Generation Hope #13 preview. Hope decides to train her team in a fight against the real X-Men, and it looks like Betsy will be the one fighting Hope (since this is Hope's book, Betsy will probably lose the fight, but I hope it is at least a close match). And Velocidad trolls Boom Boom (I must confess that I laughed really loud when I read his line).
I dig Conrad's art. It kind of reminds me of Alan Davis'.
Also nice to see Storm having a prominent leadership role once again!
