I got to admit, I had my doubts about Uncanny X-Force, but they have been shattered to a million pieces... I'm loving this story so far and the final Horsemen are incredible.
I don't understand the third page, with the woman who I assume is pestilence (why is this always a woman?). ANyway, the first panel she is looking at someone. The second panel she is watching someone grab something & she has an odd expression on her face. The third, someone is giving a dish. I assume the person that the woman watched grab that dish is the arm we see granting the dish. Then how do we get from those three panels to the next? I know it's only an advance preview haha. SO maybe there will be thought rectangles/a story being told. But right now I don't get it.
Uncanny Xforce is wonderful. I had stopped reading x titles when Nightcrawler died (though to be honest, all of Second Coming, & much before it, were just abysmal) &the only title i have read since is GOtham City Sirens. Now I'll have to check out Uncanny Xforce!! I love this site haha
I think what's happening is that there is a seemingly high ranking samurai or even a daimyo choosing a wife out of three candidates. Obviously someone else is chosen.
@Francis - I agree! The Horsemen should always be brand-new characters; Warren worked back in the day because it was a surprise to see a former hero turned into a psychopath villain and the readers couldn't tell if he was ever going to come back to the heroes' side. After that, the constant recruitment of established characters became boring and repetitive.
And I don't like these new Horsemen just for that, they also look very original and unexpected! A drum-playing soldier? An Arab salesman? A geisha? A beastly gladiator? Wow, I hope they don't die too soon, I'd like to learn more about these characters...
Too bad the Apocalypse arc ends on issue #4. Then again, no one said that Apocalypse and his Horsemen will actually be captured or die by the end of this arc; maybe they escape and the X-Force will have to deal with them later...

While I agree that the characters are very unique & it would be wonderful to read more about them, I think it would be nice to see Apocalypse FINALLY die. I'm tired of the villain always getting away in the end/being born again/etc just so if writers are ever short on ideas they can wheel out the tripe. "Guess who's back!?". Sure, some may escape, but the point of XForce is to *kill* their enemies, not be all Batman & throw them in an Asylum (which they interestingly enough always escape from). Sorry to rant haha. I just hope Apocalypse is finally destroyed.
@bla - I agree. However, Remender may spare Apocalypse for a later arc where he will finally be killed, instead of killing him now (I mean, Apocalypse is one of the big guns, it may be disappointing if he dies right in UXF's first mission).
Or he may be the villain in the next X-over (after Age of X, that is), since Remender indicated that Uncanny X-Force will have a heavy importance in one of the next X-overs (maybe Apocalypse comes back to reclaim Hope, dominating Archangel and Gambit in the process).
But I agree that whenever he dies this time, he should stay dead.

This could be the best incarnation of the 4 horsemen ever

Just a guess...
