Civil War II: X-Men #1 Spoilers

Spoilers: At Dubai, a group of wealthy mutants confines themselves in a sealed chamber to prevent poisoning from the Terrigen Mist. Magneto and his X-Men break into the chamber and brings inside every other mutant in the city who was left behind. As the Terrigen Mist approaches, Prime Sentinels - humans outfitted with cyber technology - who were disguised as servants, reveal themselves and attack the mutants, also breaking the chamber’s windows. Magneto orders his team to take as many mutants out of the chamber as they can. While they’re at it, Storm’s team arrives and Ororo prevents the Mist from reaching the mutants. Both X-Men teams team up to take out every Sentinel. After the battle is over and Storm has successfully moved the T-cloud away from the land, Monet reveals that she picked up from Storm’s team’s thoughts that they had advance warning of what was going to happen and that the Inhumans helped them. Storm explains the Inhumans are not their enemies, but Magneto begs to differ as Inhumans have done nothing to prevent the Terrigen Mists from killing and sterilizing mutants. Psylocke reads Storm’s team’s minds and finds out that a new Inhuman called Ulysses has the power to profile the future and is being used to prevent tragedies around the world. The Inhumans knew Magneto’s team would die in Dubai and so, they warned Storm in advance. Jean prevents Betsy from reading their minds any further and both teams part ways. Later that night, at the Uncanny X-Men’s Savage Land HQ, Magneto argues that the Inhumans will use the power to see into the future against mutants when the time comes. Suddenly, Nightcrawler teleports into their HQ and tells Magneto that he thinks he’s right.

Uncanny X-Men #8 Spoilers

Spoilers: At the Akkaba Hidden City, Psylocke finds herself alone and starts looking for Magneto. Betsy overhears the Servants of Akkaba telling Warren that the X-Men wouldn’t understand that they are purging the diseased flesh of Warren into themselves so that Warren would remain free of Apocalypse’s corruption. Meanwhile at the Morlock Tunnels, Monet finds out that Emplate is using and controlling the Morlocks to kidnap other mutants to feed on them. Monet explains that Emplate is a psychic vampire whose only way to remain anchored in this world is by feeding on the bone marrow of mutants; however mutants are getting scarce again. When Emplate is found, he tells Monet that he was expecting her for he wants her to save him. Meanwhile, Fantomex surprises Psylocke at the Akkaba Hidden City. Jean-Phillipe says he’s no servant of Akkaba but will defeat Psylocke anyway. The two of them starts fighting and Betsy uses her TK to destroy Fantomex’s anti-telepathy shield. It seems Fantomex holds a grudge against Psylocke for what she did to him, but lets her know that the Akkaba let her escape so that Betsy can summon Archangel. Fantomex reveals that he’s working for Magneto, much to Psylocke’s dismay. She believes him but knocks Fantomex out anyway as she’ll find Erik on her own. Betsy enters a chamber where she finds an army of Archangel-like corpses. She apologizes to Warren before finally giving in and summoning Archangel as she needs his help.

X-Men '92 #4 Spoilers

Spoilers: Outside Wetchester, Storm unleashes Bishop and Psylocke against Alpha Red’s army of mutant-vampires. Wolerine’s healing factor kicks in and he turns on Alpha Red as well. Meanwhile Storm has U-Go Girl teleport the vampire students inside the Danger Room. Within Cerebro, Beast enlists Dead Girl’s help as her unique abilities prevent her from turning into a vampire. With the assistance of Xavier, Dead Girl uses Cerebro to communicate directly with the Darkhold, the vast database of arcane knowledge that Alpha Red used to modify his vampire spawn. Rogue and Gambit soon make their way to Cerebro and face Husk and Chamber, who are protecting Xavier, Beast and Dead Girl. Outside, Jubilee is the first to burn out as Alpha Red’s bites destroy his victims over time. Alpha Red almost kills Dracula, but is interrupted by Storm. Xavier then calls Storm and Beast inside Dead Girl’s mind. The Darkhold program gives her the options to eliminate all vampires, turn them into humans again. Beast is against it as he thinks there must be another way, but time is running up. Storm agrees this is the only way and so Dead Girl choses to eliminate all vampires. All mutants are turned back to normal, while Dracula and Alpha Red become humans. The dark rituals Alpha Red was subjected to now kill him, much to Dracula’s anger. The students rebuild the school, but their victory leaves a bitter taste in Beast’s mouth as he feels they didn’t have the right to turn vampires into humans, the same way some people would like to force mutants to turn humans as well.
