We Are The X-Men: Gambit & Elektra

Marvel.com. X-Men editor Nick Lowe: "Something scary is brewing inside of Gambit. But is it good scary or bad scary?"

"The scariest person in the Marvel Universe already has ties to Wolverine. Does Warren Worthington III have enough cash to hire Elektra to solve the X-Men's worst problems?"

New Mutants #12 Spoilers

Spoilers: The Purifiers somehow send Magik to Limbo through magic. They later target Nightcrawler, taking him out as well. The Alpha Team gains the upper hand, and Stryker calls Hodge for reinforcements, while Cable and Hope get in a car and run away. Doug intercepts Stryker's message, and Cyclops orders the New Mutants to not let Hodge send his team to help the Purifiers. Sam and his team engage Hodge's Smiley soldiers, with Karma doing the most damage. Hodge leaves his human body into the machine body and attacks them. Meanwhile, Wolverine tells Warren to finish the Purifiers as fast as he can. Warren becomes Archangel and kills each one of them. He then cuts Stryker's body in half using his wings. Nightcrawler and Psylocke are shocked by what they see. The Purifiers are down, and Scott sends Ariel to the Alpha team as the new prime teleporter. With Cable and Hope still on the run, Rogue in Utopia's VR Prison feels somehow connected to her. She goes to talk to Scott, as Donald Pierce devilish smiles. Back at Hodge's facility, Karma tries to control him from a distance. He finds her and has two giant spikes impaled in her left leg.

"Raised by Cable, baptized in fire by Bastion, and with the deaths of many mutants on her shoulders, is there any chance of Hope being normal?"

We Are The X-Men: Magneto & She-Hulk (Lyra)

"The X-Men's former archenemy, Magneto, has joined their inner circle. As consigliere to Cyclops, he may have the best chance ever to secure the future for mutantkind."

X-Women On Tour

Marvel.com: Chris Claremont teams with Italian artist Milo Manara for an overseas adventure with the mutant ladies of the Marvel Universe

This July, the fairer side of Marvel mutantdom gets a spotlight in X-Women, a one-shot written by the legendary Chris Claremont and featuring work by renowned Italian artist Milo Manara.

"You'll be seeing a really fun story; 46 pages by Milo Manara doing his first work for an American audience and certainly the first he's done using classic American super hero characters," teases Claremont. "It's a presentation of this clutch of x-characters the likes of which have never been seen before. And it's brilliant art by one of the finest artists in the European market, if not the world."

On hand for the story will be the titular X-Women including Rogue, Storm, Psylocke, Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers. "In a primal sense, Kitty ends up being the viewpoint character because she very often is when I'm telling a story," Claremont explained. "The story starts with Rogue having a party at a Greek island mansion she inherited from Irene Adler, from Destiny. And things from there get very, very complicated. They get hijacked out to Genosha where we discover some things about Genosha that we've never discovered before. And much interesting and exciting adventures are had by all. A dastardly villain is revealed, a dastardly plot established. The characters are for the bulk of the story stripped of their super powers so they have to function as normal people and prove once again that the X-Men are just as dangerous without their powers as they are with them. And we thunder our way hopefully to a happy and satisfying ending. Oh...and along the way there's romance, pirates, severed heads galore, action-adventure and a magnificent sequence where Rogue discovers a skill for being a den mother/babysitter and doing lots of ironing. And Betsy discovers that she has a knack for feeding pigs."

Uncanny X-Men #523 Spoilers

Spoilers: Cable and Hope keep running away until they reach a market, where they get all the food they can get. Meanwhile Wolverine reveals X-Force's existence to the rest of the X-Men, which leaves Nightcrawler outraged. The Alpha Team contacts Cyclops via telepathy, and Scott tells Kurt not to question his leadership while the girl is not safe yet. Cyclops then orders Cypher to gather all the info he can get, and Doug ends up finding out about the market. Bastion tracks Cable's TO virus and sends Stryker and his Purifiers to kill Hope. Doug once again finds Cable and Hope's location at a hotel, and Cyclops tells the Alpha Team to follow them. The X-Men finally find Cable and Hope fighting with the Purifiers, while Cyclops sends the New Mutants to St. Louis in order to shut down Cameron Hodge's facility where he produces his anti-mutant weaponry.
