Psylocke #4 Spoilers

Spoilers: Psylocke realizes Matsu'o purposefully provoked her and Jinn hoping that he would no longer need to suffer at the hands of Wolverine. Betsy tries to talk Logan out of it, but it's useless. Wolverine attacks Psylocke, and Betsy uses her psi-knife on Logan expecting that he would come to his senses. It doesn't work. Psylocke learns the hard way that only the animal in him remains. The battle continues. It's brutal. Wolverine won't stop, and Psylocke can't focus. Jinn wakes up; he takes on Logan and tells Betsy that he's going home and that she should follow her own advice: to choose to live. Wolverine returns and stabs Jinn, who flies away in pain. Betsy manages to focus and uses her psi-knife on Logan one more time. She puts a great fight, but Logan won't give up. Psylocke remembers Jinn's words. She comes to the conclusion that this life isn't hers and that she died a long time ago. She's tired of fighting. Psylocke drops her weapons and tells Wolverine that if he wishes to kill her, then be it. After a few moments of silence, Logan tells her to kill Matsu'o, but warns her that they will have a talk later about this desire to die that she has developed. And so he leaves with Yukio to the Blackbird. Psylocke faces Matsu'o once more. He knew it was going to be her to kill him. He's ready. Psylocke uses her telepathy on Matsu'o, making him see his body the way it once was, as well as Kwannon to receive him with open arms. Betsy kills him. "For so long, my life has been out of my own control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered. I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul. My self. But no more. Now I know who I am". Back in Utopia, Psylocke meets Mercury. Betsy praises her for not wanting to kill Sack earlier, despite everything she's been through. Psylocke tells her to "Hold on to yourself with everything you've got". Mercury asks her if she found what she was looking for in Japan, to what Betsy replies: "It's a start". ♥

Psylocke #3 Spoilers

Spoilers: Betsy finds out that Jinn used to be a killer for The Hand, but walked away from this life after he found love. It turns out that The Hand ninjas murdered Jinn's pregnant wife on behalf of Matsu'o. When Psylocke uses her telepathy on him, Jinn finds out on her mind where Matsu'o is and warns Betsy not to stand on his way, as he leaves her behind. Psylocke is left confused as she's not aware of Matsu'o's location, however she finally realizes what Jinn saw on her mind: Matsu'o is at the same place where Kwannon died. Meanwhile, Jinn reaches Matsu'o, but Yukio arrives to stop Jinn. Soon after, Betsy gets there and protects Yukio from Jinn's attacks. Jinn is upset at Psylocke, as she wants Matsu'o's death as much as him but won't let him do it. Betsy explains that Matsu'o is playing both of them and she needs to know why. Jinn doesn't care and attacks Psylocke. Betsy uses her psychic-knife on him, leaving him unconscious. She then orders Matsu'o to face her and explain his actions. Matsu'o reveals his crippled body and tells her he did everything so that Betsy would kill him. He says he will never stop and will kill everyone Betsy cares about, Brian, Warren and Dazzler, until she kills him. Psylocke is shocked and asks who did that to him. Wolverine arrives at the scene and reveals that he was the one. Logan warns her: Matsu'o's not done paying, so he doesn't get to die. Just epic!

The ninja slits her throat and says "Matsu'o Tsurayaba sends his regards." Fahd makes the entire building explode somehow with his powers and he says Matuo's name. The issue cuts to Psylocke flash backing to the moment she was washed up on the shores of Japan, she awakes to find hand ninjas around her and they take her to Matsu'o. She talks about how he transformed her into Kwannon's body and how she was brainwashed into believing she was Kwannon. After psyknifing Wolverine she regained her true memories and identity. After Kwannon dies she mentions how she made peace with Matsu'o until he had her original British body destroyed. Back in real time Psylocke arrives at the 77 Club in Tokyo, Japan where Psylocke fights Matsu'o's thugs and until she rips the whereabouts of Matsu'o out of one of their minds telepathically. Meanwhile in the Kabukiiho District, Tokyo it cuts to Wolverine drinking at a bar with a pile of dead thugs behind him. Psylocke arrives at Matsu'o's hideout as she remembers her old life again and how her body was destroyed she says that tonight she will settle everything with Mastu'o. Meanwhile Matsu'o is trying to make contact wit his body guards as Psylocke takes them out one by one. The last one she what looks like telepathically kills, grabs his headset and speaks to Matsu'o saying she is there for him. Suddenly someone takes Betsy by surprise and knocks her to the ground. It turns out to be Yukio, she is surprised to see Psylocke and asks if she was there to help her. Meanwhile a small jet crashes in Japan and the reporter reporting sees Fahd emerge from the flames as she sees him he blows up the surrounding airplanes, ambulances. Psylocke asks Yukio if she is working for Matsu'o she says that she isn't and that she is there on a favor and then asks why Psylocke is there. After Psylocke tells her that she's there to cut his heart out Yukio says "Well, then. That changes everything." Yukio tells her that she is there to stop her from killing Matsu'o. She won't tell Betsy who sent her or why she wants to stop Betsy so Psylocke attempts to take it from her mind. Yukio fills her head with a faux image of Wolverine attacking Matus'o. Yukio takes Psylocke off guard and attacks her. The issue then cuts to Wolverine visiting Mariko Yashida's grave with flowers. Psylocke gets frustrated with fighting with Yukio and tells her that she has already asked why she's there, but doesn't care anymore. Psylocke aggressively fights Yukio. Yukio tells her that she isn't being herself. Psylocke knocks Yukio out and says "You have no idea who I am." Psylocke proceeds into the hideaout and calls out for Matus'o saying that she's going to correct his mistake against her. Fahd emerges from the shadows and asks Betsy where Matus'o is. Psylocke says "Excuse me?" and Fahd replies with "No." as he detonates the entire building.
