Spoilers: The X-Men uses their jet’s EMP to attack the sea-monster before it can take them down. The monster explodes, and Colossus, still underwater, is knocked out. The X-Men head to Paris where they seek Sabra for they need fuel, maintenance and medical care for Colossus. Doctor says Piotr is suffering from mild shock and should rest. Pixie warns the team of another monster in Canada. This one never stops, so Storm sends Psylocke and Pixie to check on it. Dr. Hunter calls Storm and after analyzing the first monster’s samples, she tells Ororo these creatures are a different species of mutants like Neanderthals were different from humans. Dr. Hunter explains that the sample was bio-engineered though. The monsters were created in labs, as in, someone is creating mutants from ancient DNA. In Canada, Psylocke tells Pixie that the sea-monster’s mind was primitive, running in fear. Storm calls Pixie back and let Psylocke by herself to deal with the new monster. Domino and Colossus disagrees with Storm about hiding this stuff from Cyclops, while Psylocke and Pixie agree with her. In Canada, Psylocke meets the new monster. By using her telepathy, she finds out where he is coming from and starts following him.

Sinister Forces Plague the Phoenix Five in Gillen's "Uncanny X-Men"

CBR: Mister Sinister, a longtime X-Men foe, holds yet another point of view regarding the Phoenix Force. In "Uncanny X-Men" #14, on sale June 20, writer Kieron Gillen and artist Dustin Weaver kick off a story that puts the cunning villain in conflict with the titular team and their newly cosmic empowered members, the Phoenix Five. CBR News spoke with Gillen about his plans for the series.

"In issue #13 I wanted to create this weird mood where we had Storm, Magneto, and Psylocke, three of the most powerful individuals on Earth, sitting there in a cellar drinking bottled water and they're all exhausted. They don't talk about who they've beaten. They talk about how they've been hurt and how they've lost. They're all exhausted because the last 25 hours of their life have been complete chaos," Gillen continued. "They haven't really had a chance to stop and process it all. Now's the time for conversation, but when there was so much at stake Storm and the others had to follow Scott. For me, the low key-ness of the moment makes the epic superhero conflicts more real."

Speaking with Scott Summers the next time Storm sees him will be a very different experience, because at the end of "Avengers X-Men" #5 the Phoenix selected Cyclops and four other members of the Extinction team -- Emma Frost, Namor, Colossus, and Magik -- to be its avatars. When this cosmically powered quintet, dubbed the Phoenix Five, returns to Earth their non god-like team mates will each have their own opinion on what they have become.

"In issue #13 I deliberately put Storm, Magneto, and Psylocke together. They're almost like our Greek Chorus. They'll comment about what's going on. Storm leans one way. Magneto leans another, and Psylocke is conflicted. So they provide interesting commentary and in their own ways they're all voices of reason," Gillen explained. "They're there when the Phoenix Five do what they're doing and they're our view point characters in a lot of way. I wanted to try to keep the Phoenix Five at a slight distance because I wanted to convey a sense of the otherworldly and their immense powerful. It's quite uncanny when you see some of the images of what the Phoenix Five get up to. So Magneto, Storm, and Psylocke end up walking into this room with the Five and they're all sort of glancing at each other. In a 'Er... worried now!' way.

Spoilers: Two years ago near the Caspian Sea in an archeological dig, mutant DNA that predates the accepted theory of when the x-gene first appeared is found. Dr. David Michael Gray kills the scientist who first found out about it and retrieves the samples. At the present time, Pixie is in a training session, working on teleporting to moving objects such as the X-Jet. Colossus briefs the team (Storm, Psylocke, Pixie and Domino) on the mission. Pixie teleports them to Grozy to stop a rampaging mutant monster. Colossus punches the monster, which quickly decomposes itself. Psylocke says the monster's nervous system was already compromised and rotted from the inside. The team gets a sample of it, and Storm decides to lie about it to Cyclops, saying they couldn't get a sample from the monster. Storm has Pixie teleports her to Finland, where they meet a grad student who works for Mutantes Sans Frontières. Storm hands her the sample in order to run whatever tests she can. Cyclops warns Storm's team about another monster in the North Sea. Colossus tries to face the monster undersea, while Domino shoots at it from the X-Jet. The monster gets upset and is about to destroy the Blackbird.

Spoilers (thanks slacker!): The Skinless Man settles old scores by murdering his ex-wife and her husband. In Paris, Psylocke looks for Fantomex meaning to talk to him. At The White Sky Showroom, the Omega Clan turns Wolverine's immune system on itself, and he bloats with decay and puss as his body destroys itself. Omega Red's memories are laid bare, showing an X-Force-clad Wolverine, Nightcrawler, and Deadpool murdering his parents. Wolverine tries to tell him that it's a lie, a planted memory. Meanwhile, Deadpool is at a control panel trying to order up some weapons to help them out. In Genosha, Sabretooth is preying on Kitty and Beast and their students, Evan included, who are taking an educational field trip. Meanwhile, the Shadow King tells a misteryous person that the Brotherhood is activated. Their aim is to destroy Wolverine and out X-Force to the world. More importantly, Shadow King states in glee that they'll soon have their own Apocalypse as well. Back to The White Sky Showroom, Wolverine tries to contact Psylocke but there is no answer. Deadpool finds a solution but is rained on by Wolverine's guts, willfully ejected by Wolverine himself. Back to Paris, Betsy and Fantomex, after having sex, seems they've worked things out. Fantomex recalls her violet eyes which he fell in love with at first sight. Which he finds curious as they didn't seem the same this night... Surprise, it's Mystique! The real Psylocke is in Manhattan, brooding about Fantomex deserving a taste of her own anguish. When she gets to her hotel room, Angel and Professor X are there. He has restored Angel's memories and says Betsy is a danger and locks her in some kind of stasis trying to restore Betsy's mind back to before the Siege Perilous event. Betsy says that girl is no more and psycho-blasts her way out of Xavier's lock, knocking Warren and the Professor down in the process. She jumps out the building and is running when she states that no man will ever again tell her who she can and can't be. She falls down and Jamie Braddock is alive and in front of her, condemning her for her past, Angel flies in and kicks her back and Jamie punches her. Nightcrawler battles the Omega Clan and holds his own for a while but is eventually subdued again. A big robot comes and rescues him, obviously of Deadpool's design, and the three of them escape. Final page shows each member in their dire situations. Deadpool, Nightcrawler, and Wolverine in the blackbird, calling for help. Fantomex and Mystique fighting rooftop in their underwear. Psylocke back in her hotel room, delirious and with black stuff streaming out of her eyes.
