Reeling from their unfathomable losses, the X-Men have returned home to honor the fallen and somehow gather strenght for what lies ahead. Jean Grey, Rogue, Iceman and Kitty say goodbye to their loved ones, pay homage to their memory and try to figure out what happens next.

Ultimate X-Men #99 Spoilers

Spoilers: I wasn't looking forward to this issue, I was dead sure (pun not intended) Ultimate Psylocke would end up murdered in this issue! Surprisingly enough she survives! After Stryker and his men armed with Sentinel tech break into the Xavier Institute the students all try to flee, only Syndicate falls victim to them. Psylocke uses Cerebro to send a telepathic message to any mutant that can help save them. Rogue hears her call and arrives with the Weapon X program. Psylocke isn't seen afterward, but it isn't alluded that she was killed. Toad and Firestar also escape and the issue ends with Rogue realizing she has blood on her hands after going berserk and killing all of Stryker's men after absorbing Juggernaut's strength. The next issue--final issue!

Spoilers: As the Ultimatum wave hits New York, the original X-men leave to seek out Magneto. Meanwhile Rogue is pissed because the X-Men don't trust her anymore and go to Canada to find the Vindicator - John Wraith. Rogue blames him for everything that has happened to her, but she accepts his help and gather the Weapon X team. Back at the mansion, Firestar, Syndicate and Psylocke are left when Stryker attacks the Institute and blows up one of Syndicate's head (Matthew).

Ultimate X-Men #98 First Look

Ultimate X-Men writer Aron Coleite talked about the Ultimatum event and the X-Men. This story begins November 26 with ULTIMATE X-MEN #98. One of the preview pages shows Ultimate Psylocke among the X-Men. Betsy joined them in Ultimate X-Men #84 after Professor Xavier's death and has been living with them ever since. ;P
